Please see the variety of services we offer in our drop down menus. Action Video can transfer your home movies to DVD and other digital formats. We offer foreign tape and DVD conversion.
Just call to review your project. We will work at your direction to create your own masterpiece. We can edit your footage into any order; add titles, special effects, music, narration, etc. One of our experienced editors will be glad to assist you in creating a beautifully finished video. To get the most out of your time, here are a few editing tips.
4. If you want to add narration to your project you can record your voice onto a standard audio cassette and bring it in or you can bring in your script and record it here. A TV is wider than it is tall, so if you are going to use photos, horizontal images are better than vertical images. Prints transfer to video better than do slides.
We can take your old home movies, slides, photos and audio and digitally transfer them to DVD, CDs or (in the case of film) as.avi files on a hard drive. No more hassling with projectors, screens, reels, and bad bulbs. Just insert the DVD or CD, push play, and enjoy. Just number your reels in the order you want them to appear on the video and we will do the rest.

I had records my dad made and sent back to my mom when he was in the air force stationed at Lubbock, TX during WW II. I wanted to be able to listen to them but, without a record player, was unable. Someone recommended Action Video. I was hesitant to send them to a company I knew nothing about but after the initial communication with the company I was very comfortable doing so. They notified me when the records arrived. After converting them to CDs, they also notified me when they mailed them back to me. I thought my wedding tape was permanently ruined when I had it digitized at Costco. My wife was in tears and pleaded that I find someone who could fix it. Les at Action Video is my hero for fixing something I thought was impossible to fix. Go to this man for digitizing old video tapes or whatever your video needs are. He really cares about your footage and will produce an excellent product!

If you're struggling to find a kind, professional that you trust to convert your cherished VHS or VHS-C tapes to digital, you've come to the right spot! I was desperate to find anyone who could convert my home movies to DVDs and MP4 format at the last minute as a gift for my father's 60th Birthday. Action Video prepared a video for the celebration of life funeral service. My Mom died at 105 years young and she had 105 years of good life & good health. On her 100th birthday we made a family video from pictures but we had it on a DVR format.. Action Video was able to edit the video down to the time we wanted it , keep the music of our choices on the video, & put all of this on a standard DVD format. A wonderful sendoff for our Mom . I finally got around to transferring my vhs, 8mm and mini dvs to DVDs through Action Video. Nearly 50 years worth of memories are finally in a reliable format. Les Howard was very conscientious about combining tapes onto single DVDs in order to save me money. He labeled them and indexed them to the original tapes. I ended up with 33 priceless DVDs. I highly recommend Action Video.
