The purpose of Alcona Citizens for Health, Inc. (Alcona Health Center), shall be to promote, develop and operate such facilities and programs as are necessary to provide quality health care to all residents of Alcona County and the surrounding areas, regardless of ability to pay.

I tried going in to try figuring out what is going on with my lungs. I knew it wasn't covid but obviously when I went they still had to run the test. Both test came back negative but they didn't even bother to bring me in at all. I ended up not having covid but acute bronchitis and I got the zpack but it hasn't helped as it should. It's been a week after the use of it and I'm actually starting to get worse. I call but no answers or call backs. I'm about to just walk into the hospital to see if they will take me in and actually look into what's going on. Do something to change that instead of making

Doctors and Medical Staff are so helpful and caring!!! Receptionists are still extremely rude and inconsiderate, took 30 minutes to check out, because in the middle of me checking out they told me to sit down and wait so they could take people behind me. Also Asked me to take out my phone to look up an address, when they have a computer right in front of them. Then the front desk went on a rant about how I couldn’t do her job better, Which led to the person behind me trying to fight me which the front desk lady didn’t nothing about and laughed.

My medical provider and his staff are absolutely awesome. Personable, understanding, great listeners, knowledgeable, provide as much care as possible in their specialty, and where it’s not they provide some great referrals. After overworked specialist to specialist who just need their 15 minutes of billing and a 3 month follow up, seeing my primary, is a breath of fresh air. I’m taken seriously, my medical history doesn’t have to be looked up on a computer, because they care enough to remember and communicate with outside medical teams. they aren’t quick to diagnose, or give up. Excellent service. My doctor listens, orders the right tests, prescribes the right meds, doesn’t prescribe unnecessary meds, and seems to truly care about my overall health and well-being. Courtney is the best. Thanks Doc. Alcona Health Center is great about scheduling, rescheduling, reminders, etc. They provide a great service and it is much appreciated.

Doctor in acute care stood over me in a really intimidating way. He is a big man and I felt scared (I have PTSD) as I was cornered in an office chair. I got anxious and then he was really rude and started talking to me like I was a child, interrupting me saying “Oh you’re getting so worked up” over and over. He minimized everything else I said and didn’t stay in the room for more than 2 or 3 minutes. He tried to tell me to just go back to my primary care doctor after I told him how my primary care doctor was refusing treatment. Only gave two stars because he grudgingly ordered a CT and
