An audiologist is the only licensed professional who can treat your comprehensive hearing and balance health. A dispenser's focus is sales, an audiologist's focus is you. Learn how you can improve communication with the ones you care about the most! Take charge of your hearing and communication by contacting your audiologist at Grace Hearing and Language Services.

We are in-tune with providing excellent hearing healthcare services! Studies show that 30 million people in the US, age 12 and older have hearing loss in both ears. Please answer the question below to the best of your ability. After you choose your answer, the next question will appear. At the end of the survey, you will be provided with a score, and you may send this score to us so we may discuss any hearing loss issues you are having.
Services
An audiologist is a quality of life doctor who specializes in the auditory (hearing) and vestibular (balance) system to prevent, diagnose, manage, and treat hearing loss, balance issues, and related conditions.

Some people believe hearing aid dispensing (HAD) companies are their only choice to seek treatment for hearing loss because they do not understand the difference between an audiologist and hearing aid dispenser (also known as hearing instrument specialist).Consider an audiologist as the highly qualified and primary clinical care specialist for your auditory and vestibular system.
If you suspect that your child has a hearing loss, a hearing examination should be considered. The test is painless and involves either the use of soft, earphone-like probes that are placed in the ears or the use of electrodes placed on the infant's scalp, called an Auditory Brainstem Response or ABR evaluation.
Auditory processing is a condition that effects the way in which our brain interprets sounds - primarily speech. Are you hearing people speak, but having trouble understanding what they are saying? You may be experiencing auditory processing disorder (APD), which may or may not be accompanied by hearing loss.
Allow Grace Hearing and Language Services to assist you with providing interpreting services. Together we can bridge language and cultural gaps, encouraging the ease and flow of communication. Do you need interpreting or translating services? The term interpreting and translating are often used interchangeably, but the terms have separate and distinct meanings.
Congratulations on taking an active role in caring for your auditory and vestibular system! A regular hearing evaluation is recommended, similar to a regular eye and dental evaluation. It is important to establish a baseline and on-going record of your hearing status. Changes in hearing may occur due to medication(s), noise exposure, illness, and other cause(s).

Dr. Wilson is fabulous. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She helped me set up the app that allowed me to adjust mt hearing aids for different situations in my daily life, which helped me hear better and use the hearing aids I purchased a year ago, but did not use as they did not work in all situations. She truly a God sent. We are seniors and the offered mobile unit is what we really needed. Thank you Dr. Wilson
