As pilots you've worked hard to get where you are, and we believe your uniform should honor your journey. We want our uniforms to promote an image of astute professionalism. A key element of achieving these goals is providing our customers with proper fitting pieces. Our customers appreciate customization options as well as a large selection of fit choices that result in a comfortable and better looking uniform.
Tall Shirts are for 6'3 and above. The sleeves and body are too long for 6'2 and below. Other brands skimp on material costs and have shorter lengths than ours. We regularly receive exchanges for regular lengths from customers who do not follow this advice. Wing eyelets are an option on all our shirts and are placed approximately 1 above the left pocket.

All orders ship within 3 business days of being placed Monday - Friday unless notified. The maximum expected days from order to delivery is 12 business days for those in the Northeast. Shipping policies are in accordance of the chosen shipping service. Delivery method is USPS Priority Mail International.

A cut above used to be the leader in pilot shirts, unfortunately not the case anymore. Months and months of back orders and when you eventually do get the shirts, the quality has degraded immensely. Threads hanging out of shirts, fitting is garbage, fabrics and material feel cheap and flimsy. Between the month long back orders for over a year now and poor quality, I think it’s time to try other vendors until A Cut Above figures out how to get back on top with quality products. Go buy your shirts elsewhere. You will get them quicker and they will last longer.

Sadly A Cut Above has suffered immensely from the supply chain issues and manufacturing over seas. After waiting multiple months for my shirts to get shipped(I was notified of the delays at time of order) the quality of the shirts and fit was not even close to the exact same style and size ordered in the past. Customer service did offer a full refund or exchange but not the same style of shirt. The new style is of poor quality and the fit isn’t much better but at least they are actually white in color. It will take a while before I order from A Cut Above again as I will try some other vendors

Don't ever order from them. I ordered a couple of shirts the first week of May and it's now almost mid-August and still didn't receive any product. Of course, they were quick enough to charge my credit card immediately and when I asked for a discount for waiting 3 months they gave me a miserable %15 (applied before taxes and shipment cost so that they can save those few bucks).

Made a reservation on their website for a pant and blazer measurement and fitting. Michele was the CSR. A welcoming experience given the last couple of weeks in the training puzzle palace.
Overall a positive and welcoming experience, and helpful tailor. The alterations were ready within an hour on this particular visit.

Received timely. Had to take a size down in neck bc they were sold out and it actually worked better than the original size I ordered. Only “but” was I was shorted by 1 shirt, which was sent out as soon as I contacted customer care. Great shirt again. Looks like the quality control has been revamped and we are back on track to the original great product.

I’ve worn the Tropo shirts for two different airlines over the last decade. They have always been comfortable and not prone to wrinkling. That said, I was a little surprised by the change in material when I ordered a fresh batch in January 2021. The shirts, now made in Vietnam and not China, feel softer and wrinkle much easier. This is especially annoying if you pack your shirts before commutes, etc.
As others have mentioned, I too would have appreciated knowing about the change in material/quality before ordering them.
