Oak Ridge is a small town in Guilford County, NC. The town is 15 miles northwest of Greensboro, the third-largest city in North Carolina. Oak Ridge is home to the Oak Ridge Military Academy. It is the third oldest military school that is still in operation today. The town used to be mostly filled with tobacco farms but since its incorporation as a town in 1998, it has seen rapid growth in population.

Mel's Tree Services was very professional. They took care of exactly what they said they were going to and cleaned up very well. Outside of the missing tree you would be hard-pressed to tell that they were there. Excellent value for services rendered! Mel's will be used next time I need another tree service.

Mel's Tree service is top notch. They took down a 60 ft. tall tree located between my house and my neighbor's house. They did it expertly. I highly recommend Mel's Tree Service for jobs big and small. BTW names are a coincidence.

Mel and his team were very professional and exceeded our expectations. They completed the job quickly and on budget while being respectful of our property. I appreciated that they asked questions along the way to make sure we were on the same page. They were very thorough in their clean up. We will use them again in the future. Highly recommend.

I called Mel at the recommendation of a friend after having a not-great experience with another company. Mel was out to give me an estimate the same day I called, and he and his crew started the job the very next day. They were incredibly efficient and professional, and they moved QUICKLY. They showed up just before 9am, took down a panel of our fence to get the truck in the backyard, took down 4 trees, ground down 8 stumps, and put the fence panel back on... all by 1pm. Our yard looks amazing. The cost was super-reasonable, and we're just delighted all the way around. We highly recommend them

Where do I begin? Mel helped me out when several other companies could not. His team pulled out a tremendous stump and root ball that was left from recent storm damage. It was an enormous job. They came equipped and prepared to begin and left my yard in much better condition than I thought was possible. They stayed and trimmed some additional branches for me, loaded up the debris, and cleaned up the entire front yard. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!
