This is NOT true. I have many openings throughout the tax season whether it be by appointment or walk-in to service your tax needs.

She has her roots in Corpus Christi, Texas and has her hands in the community, graduating from Del Mar College with her associates in accounting. Other college accomplishments are BBA from University of Pan Am in Edinburgh and a Major in Business Administration/Accounting. In 1996, she decided to begin the business out of her small home office and has seen it grow since.
1. Do I have to make an appointment? Not at all! Walk-ins are ALWAYS welcome as long as our doors are open. Just keep in mind that if you want to see a specific person i.e. Jeannette and that person has appointments, you will have to be fit in after the appointments are done. There will be a much smaller wait if you call and make an appointment OR decide to see one of the other tax preparers.

When we got our stimulus check it went to this company then to our bank filing joint they only sent it in my husbands name and charge a fee. My bank was going to send it back since the account is in my name and my name was not on the check. All verified by my bank as an actual 3rd party check not the actual IRS stimulus check. Now i am having to watch again as the IRS shows it was deposited today and wasnt. 3rs Srimulus check went to this closed account but was not sent back to IRS 10 weeks and still waiting for it!!

If it is too good to be true, it probably is.....we were referred by this place a long time ago from my husband's workplace at the time, unbelievable refunds....then a couple of years ago the place was raided by the IRS and we got audited and had to pay the IRS for three years!!!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!

They have been doing our taxes for 10 years and we have NEVER had a problem. They are wonderful people under stress and they will do their best to help you if you are honest with them. People have to be honest when doing itemize taxes. And always stick with the same person every year. We certainly will be visiting them this year. If your audited, it is your fault, not theirs. You're the one who gives the itemize information to them to put down....they don't get in trouble, you do.

Did my taxes last year with Jeannettes cousin Erika witch turned out to be shady in Jeannetes words.
She said Erika stole money from her and some clients . I never receive my stimulus and when I asked Jeannette she was very rude saying Erika was never a employee of hers. Very shady people don’t recommend at all don’t waste your time and money.

I wish that there was a way to give this "business " a negative rating. We were new to the CC area. This place was recommended to us by person that my wife worked with. We scheduled an appointment and my wife took all of our tax information on to the office. Our information was reviewed and she was told that the office would call when our taxes were done. Needless to say we didn't hear back from them for a couple of weeks. We tried calling them several times . April 15 was just a few days away so my wife dropped by their office. Do not use this company. They are frauds. You believe that you are getting professional tax help and you are not. The IRS audits will start coming in. They are under investigation for tax fraud and you will go down with them - there is nothing correct about the tax returns they prepare. They don't even use the information you provide correctly. And don't believe it if you are told that Jeanette is a former IRS agent....not true.

Do not use J&G! We first started using them early in 2006. At first we thought we were getting great service, but in 2008 the IRS audits started coming in. EVERY YEAR that we used her we were audited. Normally I wouldn't hold this against Jeanette or the company, but they said they offer "audit protection". We found out that their idea of audit protection meant asking for paperwork from us that she told us from the beginning the irs would not need. We went in 2015 to have our taxes done but they weren't accepting walk ins. When w explained we were coming from San Antonio they said they would squeeze us in. After an hour of waiting we finally opted to leave. The following year we tried again avid made an appointment. Thankfully we were. Assigned to Ben Flores. He didn't work for them but was renting space there. We filed and planned to return to Ben again this year (which we did) we recently saw on the news that in 2016 the IRS and federal agents raided this office and that audits would be forth coming for Armadillo clients. I've been driving from Austin to this company for years because Jeanette is the best, and I've always been grateful to her. However, after today's experience I'm sad to say I will not be returning. My husband and I made this appointment a couple of months ago for a Saturday. About a week ago I received a call that they needed to reschedule as Jeanette had just decided she no longer wished to work weekends. So they changed it to Friday and both he and I had to take the day off from work. We arrived expecting a wait, as usual, however they were not accepting walk-ins today, which should have lessened
