As part of our Research and Development sector, we can evaluate a texture to determine what is happening on the macro and micro level. Our pilot scale heated roll embossing and calendering machine allows us to trial customer's product before going into full scale production. If one of our stock textures doesn't fit the bill, we can modify an existing design or create an entirely new pattern.
Synthetic, man-made decking is based on co-extrusion or plastic materials. Our composite embossers have been designed to create a way to make the decking not only look real but also diminish gloss, enhance traction, and shed water. Our machines feature hydraulically assisted nip pressure, A-C variable speed motors, precision gap controls, and custom machined steel frames.
Metal embossers use a set of hardened matched steel rolls, geared together for a top to bottom pattern registration and closed under high pressure. Our roll bases are made from domestic high carbon forged steel. Each herringbone gear set features flame hardened teeth and an adjustable hub for maintaining pattern registration.
