Services
Back in the beginning, Ezra Carwile sowed the seeds of his dream in just 180 square feet. With the army behind him and training, thanks to the GI Bill, Ezra worked in the field for 8 years before he and friend Woodrow Jackson took that first leap out of the sun porch of a house on South Dixie. Cookeville was a town of about 6000 then, and air-conditioning was in its infancy.
Carwile Mechanical's service department is recognized nationally for employing only NATE-certified service technicians and installers. To find out what this means for the consumer, go to the NATE website for more information.
Our service technicians have the capabilities to troubleshoot and service a wide variety of mechanical equipment including: chillers, boilers, air dryers, pumps, dehumidification equipment, building automation controls and several other types of HVAC systems.

We now have heat! We have had several people come out and "attempt" to fix our Trane system, charging over 1k, still not fixed. A serviceman was here within a couple of hours of initial call, he had the system fixed (gas line cleaned, and connected a loose wire) shortly after he got here!
Brad was courteous and professional, as was each staff person I spoke with. Will be getting their yearly maintenance plan.

I called Carwile to repair my air conditioning. It had stopped working. The first technician diagnosed the problem as being a bad transformer. He replaced it and it still didn't fix the problem. After several hours of "working" on it ( he spent a lot of time on the phone) he said he couldn't fix it and he possibly wired the transformer wrong. The next day another Carwile technician came to fix it. After several hours of working on it he told me that the first guy wired the transformer wrong. He said because the transformer was wired wrong it damaged another part and since my unit is old they can
