Services
Perfect for the budding herbalist, our Fresh Medicinal Herb CSA & workshop series is an invitation to learn more about herbal medicine by being with the plants and joining us at the herb farm. Local herbalists will be leading 4 herbal medicine workshops that are in rhythm with the seasons.
The workshops include: hands on experience harvesting & preparing herbal medicine; information about seasonal herbs, their uses & recipes; time for questions & guidance from local herbalists; opportunities to share & swap herbal medicine & recipes with CSA members; and a healthful group lunch with fresh herbs from the farm.

Herbal infusions are strong teas, offering nutrients, delicious flavors and the medicinal merits of herbs. They can be served hot or cold and mixed into refreshing drinks. Infusion time and amount of herbs will determine the color, flavor-intensity, and medicinal benefits of the infusion. We recommend infusing herbs loosely, then straining before serving.
Moonrise Apothecary at Deer Creek Collective offers more than organic herbs, botanical products & farm fancy elixir bars - crafted with a full heart from our farm. We believe that plant medicine should be rooted in earth-centered practices that are just & connecting. Our botanical products are formulated by Kat Sidelnik & can be found in the "Shop Herbs" section of the Deer Creek Collective website.
Shamanic Clowning is a blend of the sacred and the silly - a rare combination that offers a perspective on the world that is both ancient and futuristic. Ancient because clowns and shamans are rule-breakers and truth-seekers and have been around for a long time. Futuristic because our salvation as a culture-in-peril is dependent upon connecting with our native wisdom as well as with our inner child.
