We hired Fredericksburg Window Decor to install plantation shutters and honeycomb shades in our home. We are extremely pleased with the results. Peter and Jeffrey are experts in the field. They offered us some professional advice when we were making decisions on the type of window coverings we wanted. We just loaded a new house with 16 Hunter Douglas shades called Applause Top Down Bottom Up. They are wonderful window treatments that I could go on and on about, but that's not the real reason to write this review.
This review is about the shop - FREDERICKSBURG WINDOW DECOR - and the wonderful service. Deciding on window decor is often really difficult as each option is so fundamental to the feel of the house. FWD came to the house for a consultation and quick window count and estimate. A few weeks later (!) upon our final decision, they came again for color selection and final measurements.

Peter and Jeffrey of Fredericksburg Window Decor were absolutely wonderful! From choosing our shade styles and colors to installation a few weeks later, everything went smoothly and totally stress-free for us. They are both very knowledgeable, extremely pleasant and eager to please. They really want us to be happy with our choices and with their service...and we sure are! We needed some window treatments for picture window in Family Room, Master Bedroom and Guest Bedroom. We engaged Fredericksburg Window Decor based on positive online reviews. The entire experience was very positive. Jeffrey came to home and told us options. He also took what proved to be very accurate measures of each window. After a few weeks, he returned to install the blinds. He explained how each blind worked after installation. Very beautiful and the high quality of the blinds is very visible. Recommend them highly.

Had a great experience working with Fredericksburg Window Decor to install Hunter Douglas blinds in my new house! Peter was extremely polite, friendly, and respectful of our home during the in-home consultation and helped us understand all of the design, color, and functional options. Installation was quick and easy, and Jeffrey was great to work with. The blinds themselves are exactly what I was looking for to help my new home feel more like a home and less like an empty shell, and the remote/voice activation is awesome!

Fredericksburg Window Decor went above and beyond our expectations. The salesman helped us select just the right Hunter Douglas product for our windows and he spent a lot of time making sure that each window had the best design for the location and operation. The installer was also top notch. He made sure that each window was perfectly installed and operating just right. He even came back on his own to replace one motor that he was not happy with even though we did not really see a problem with it. We are very happy we chose Fredericksburg Window Decor and would recommend them to anyone.

I love this company. Jeffrey has been out to my home two different times and each time everything was great. I love my automatic blinds. They look amazing and everything was perfect with install. Jeffrey is a pleasure to work with and was very helpful with picking out colors and fabrics. The blinds really transformed my home. I just cant say enough about Jeffrey and this company!
