I ordered orange chicken with pork fried rice through Uber eats and it was soo delicious!!! My hunt for good Chinese food in the east valley has ended!! I also ordered chili oil and gave the perfect kick to the food.

I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein, and it didn't even come with noodles. Last time I checked, chow mein was pan fried noodles, and all I got was chicken and vegetables, with very little flavor. If I wanted plain, unseasoned chicken and celery I would have just had dinner at my mom's house. Now I opened it and had to eat disappointment for dinner because they're closed.

I've visited Hot Wok quite a few times over the years. I used to work in the same plaza and would have lunch here weekly. Yang Chow was my go-to. Cashier was super sweet and always remembered my order.

It's been a couple years since, but I've noticed they actually considerably improved. I ordered delivery for the first time and it was an excellent experience.
They were early, left the food via contactless delivery, everything was packaged well and HOT.

Probably my favorite local Chinese spot. The portions and the prices are good. Delivery is fast and inexpensive. Crab Rangoons are my favorite and they give you 8 big ones for $4.75. I have tried a lot of the menu at this point and have never disliked anything although I stick to the basics like orange chicken and sweet and sour pork.

I am a big fan. I had passed by this place countless times with out giving it a try. It is now my goto chineese takeout option.

The menu has many intresting options. We enjoy the eggplant dish packed full of flavor. The kids love the lo mein noodles and the tofu dishes are packed full of crispy triangles of tofu. My wife loves the sweet Mu shu veggies served with real wraps (not just tortillas.)

Portions are generous and the prices are quiet reasonable. Pickup orders have always been ready in 30 min or less. It is nice that they include forks, mustard, soy, sweet and sour pakets and fortune

My favorite local spot for Chinese food. It's always hot and fresh and delicious. They closed briefly during the pandemic but are back open as of May and I'm so glad!

I love this place. I grew up near Chinatown in New York City and everything about this place reminds me of there from the standard selection of dishes to the actually Chinese owners to the quick cooking time & affordable prices.
Recently tried Szechwan wontons for the first time & they were a revelation in rich sweet heat & umami. I love there sweet & sour Pork or Chicken for its light crunchy flavor. We often order the Vegetable Lo Mein and it is bountiful & delicious. I also enjoy their Spicy Garlic Eggplant and ask to add Fried Tofu & green beans for well rounded treat

I have gotten takeout from this restaurant for over a decade and have never once been disappointed. My food always arrives hot, fresh and super tasty. Prices are very reasonable and my orders always arrive super fast. Ordering online is easy. I'm so glad the restaurant has survived this health crisis so far, but I'm sure they could use more loyal customers.

I have tried many places before and after Hot Wok and none that are still in business compare. Their food is Outstanding. Everything is beyond delicious. Their prices are reasonable. The order is always correct & delivery time is reasonable. Love love love them. The other restaurants recommended dont even come close to Hot Wok.

We ordered delivery, and the food was so hot and fresh!! Ordering online was very simple and wow the food was good.
My favorites were the fried potstickers and honey chicken but the fried rice and Mongolian beef is amazing!
Can't wait to go back. The best part of everything is the price! You really get a lot of food for very little price.

Best Chinese restaurant in town by far. We usually order it once a week for work. Sometimes I drive down 30 minutes from my house to get some food for dinner because you can't find quality Asian food like this anywhere else. It doesn't look like much on the outside but the food is amazing. We usually get the wonton egg drop mixed soup and cream cheese ragoons. Excellent priced too!

This is some legit New York Chinese here. Singapore noodles have a nice mix of shrimp, sliced chicken, and sliced roast pork, with a good dose of yellow curry powder. Egg foo yung, the meat and veg is cooked in the egg patty as it should be (not piled on top as it inexplicably is in some AZ Chinese joints)--very good gravy. Fried rice appropriately greasy. This is not one of those places that's afraid to use oil and your leftovers are dry as a bone the next day--I order a few things at work and have delicious lunches for days. O-M-G! My family has traveled across the country by car 18 times....literally. And aside from the east coast, HOT WOK has THE BEST CHINESE FOOD HANDS DOWN!!! Hot Wok is clean, fast and sooo delicious! Every time we order, we order MORE so that we don't have to fight over who is eating how much of what! Their shrimp fried rice is so good (for example) that I can eat it right out of the container without soy sauce or anything! (Which is not ordinary for me). And their gravy for their egg foo young is to die for!!! In fact, as I write this review, I am praying that I'm not jinxing

I came in as I was craving A teriyaki chicken rice bowl and found this conveniently located, I appreciate they opened their door to me as I was earlier than their scheduled opening (10:50) they open at 11:00am.
I ordered their large plate of teriyaki chicken which came fully loaded with vegetables and a side plate of white steamed rice as I could add as much or as little race to my meal as I wanted.
A very pleasant lunch and environment. Warning egg drop soup is hot, very good!!

I may be in the minority (like I care) but I was totally disappointed with my visit and the food. I can not recommend this establishment to anyone.
My coworker told us while in training of these terrible experiences at a local restaurant but I never paid much attention. After visiting Hot Wok today, I asked him what place he had been been talking about months ago....it was Hot Wok.

A solid 4* approaching 4.5* for me based on one delivery, and one take away order. We were craving "NY style" Chinese food, and I saw Georgie M.'s review, and further saw that they have shrimp toast, something that Scott and I both recall fondly from our "one from column A, one from column B" NY inauthentic Chinese food introduction, and that they delivered: sold!

The order came very quickly, the driver was super polite, it was packed well, and except for the shrimp toast being a tad over cooked, and a missing soda, everything was perfect. They even offer the elusive

I'm not one to complain about food because I'm not that picky but this was gross. My teriyaki chicken was pink. Like really flipping pink. Teriyaki chicken isn't supposed to be pink ever? I tried it because maybe it was how it was cooked but it didn't taste good at all. It was also drowning in teriyaki sauce. I called the store and asked for a refund but she wouldn't give me one just kept insisting they'd make me something else. I've worked in the food industry and understand why she insisted on not giving a refund but if they are adamant on the refund you give

I use to come here once a month, around the time I would go to All Family Barber for a hair cut. Sadly All Family is closed, but I still enjoy stopping here for a take out order whenever I'm in the area.

The food has a mostly east coast Chinese flavor to it, meaning it's has strong Szechwan or Sichuan influence. Szechuan is known for its slightly spicy taste. They use a lot of garlic and chili peppers, as well as Sichuan pepper in their food, which our family likes.

I was skeptical at first because the place looked dated and no one else was there to eat. Was greeted warmly and was given recommendations off of the vast menu. I ordered a small wonton soup and the eggplant chicken with garlic sauce. 10 minutes later a man (the cook I assume) brought me my food and thanked me for waiting.

The food was delicious! Large portion enough for 2 hungry people. Full of flavor and not too salty. My takeout order has everything I needed including an assortment of sauces.

I will be back for sure. This is a family owned business and I like to support those.

I called to place a delivery order... Was in the MIDDLE of my order, when he put me on "hold" to answer another call.

Unfortunately for this vendor- "hold" was live and I could hear this guy putting me on the backburner while he took someone else's call for takeout ahead of mine.

I asked WHY I had to wait for someone who called in AFTER me... After waiting on hold for 15 minutes... The guy literally said "f*** you" and hung up.

Not only have I not tried this place- DONT WANT TO! Good luck, jerks!
