Came to RRG for some climbing in the off season and found this little place open. It was SO good! Great prices, quick service and quick food delivery, and delicious nachos. We went back twice. Would really recommend - it was very good tennessee mexican food

We were excited to get some Mexican food for dinner as the menu looked good and the prices were super reasonable, but we were extremely disappointed. We were seated in a nearly empty restaurant and 25 minutes passed and no one offered any service. No one came to take our drink orders, despite staff walking by 2-3 times noticing we still had menus and hadn't been helped. We left, we we were hungry and weren't going to wait around for subpar service. The hostess noticed us leaving and didn't say anything.

We went to the Campton location and it's only a few miles from the Gorge so we went after a day of hiking with our two children. There was only one other group and they sat in the back room so there was plenty of room for social spacing. The place was relaxed and brightly decorated.
They are working on a liquor license which might be why it was empty while every other restaurant was crowded. Lots of people were ordering take out. The food was served really quickly and was well made. I always like when there is fresh cilantro with the salad. I had the Carne Asada which came with tortillas

Great place to try different sipping (high end) tequilas! We stopped there after hiking all day. Cold beer and nachos (great queso on nachos btw!) tasted so good. Then we sat at the bar and taste-tested 3 kinds of tequila. Never saw Don Ramon tequila before. The Reposado bottle was delightfully sweet. The Anejo bottle was very smooth. Compared it to Don Julio, which is my very best pick, but they didn't have the Anejo version, only the Reposado version. Anyway, the bartender was very kind and told us how much he enjoyed helping people taste-test the tequilas. Prices were excellent for this

Diners, beware! Overcharges customers and then refuses to issue refunds when caught.

My family was traveling from Indiana to Virginia and came across this place. We were very impressed. The service was amazing. The servers were on it. Always getting refills. The food was great, hot, fresh, authentic. Great prices and you definitely get your money's worth. Highly recommend if passing through this area stop in!

Tonight was our first visit here and now we understand why the parking lot is often pretty full. Good solid authentic Mexican food and great service in a festive atmosphere. Prices are a couple of dollars less than typical in similar Mexican restaurants in large towns, so it's a good value. The white fluorescent overhead lights are a little bright at night and take away from the atmosphere slightly, but the bright green painted walls with typical Mexican scenery still holds its own and draws your eyes.

This place is nice and clean with fast attentive service. I stopped in for lunch while in Powell County and enjoyed it immensely. I got a lunch special. I ordered the Chile relleno and tamale. They were out of tamales, so I got a taco instead. Everything was tasty and exactly what I was looking for. The relleno was top notch with a nice coating. It was a little cheesy for my taste but not bad.

If you are the area it is with the 1 Mile drive off the parkway.

Had to use the bathroom and the women's bathroom was closed for maintenance and cleaning. The guy that worked there told me to use the men's bathroom which isn't a huge deal but I saw a huge cockroach in the bathroom. It appeared that someone had stepped on it because it was on its back in the process of dying. The atmosphere of the restaurant was not good. No music playing and the walls are just spray painted with green paint. Food was sub par.

First off, these are some of the friendliest people around. Great service, very attentive waiters. Good prices. The food.... is okay. Don't expect anything even remotely close to authentic Mexican food, or you will be let down on a grand scale. I'm talking flour tortillas, tacos with iceberg lettuce and shredded american cheese, no cilantro in sight. It's not terrible, just nothing to write home about.

I was hesitant to eat here for the longest time. I'm from out west, I know real Mexican food. I figured, there's no way a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant in Stanton, KY could be anything but yuck. Well, I was SOOOO wrong!
This has to be the most honest, authentic Mexican food I've had in a very long time!
I'm a big time Chilli Relleno fan, and expert, and snob... LOL!
They make the most tasty, and authentic Chili Relleno, I thought I was back in Mexico City!

Very clean, very friendly place to enjoy REAL Mexican cuisine!
And the prices are perfect!
I'll be coming back

Excellent fajitas today. Came sizzling to the table and the ingredients are very fresh. The sauce, onions, and peppers caramelized on the dish to a wonderful savory flavor. Small town reviewers can sometimes be a little too kind to the establishment, but this is a place you don't want to miss if your hungry near Stanton.

My family eats here frequently. Only had our order not to our liking once, so drastically better than other places. Good food, friendly atmosphere, nice prices.

Lots of food, delicious, fairly authentic, and cheap. Perfect after a day climbing at the Gorge. I had the Chile rellenos and a bean burrito (vegetarian), others in my group loved the meat options as well.

Went here yesterday afternoon. Friend and I grabbed the special dinner, which is a sampler of their enchilada, chalupa, tamale, chile relleno, and taco, with an appetizer of guacamole.

I left a bit of myself behind at that table. The food was rough. It was rough in a way that I didn't think cheap mexican food could be. Greasy, fattening, terrible for you, sure. But bland? How in the hell does that happen. I'm not even sure I would rate their ground beef above taco bell's! And the guac was over salted as well.

We tried the place on account of mr. leighton's review

Though it's a small town, Stanton, KY is overrun with chain fast food and chains. Luckily, Mi Finca is an above-average Mexican alternative with cheap lunch specials, crude murals, and a huge dinner menu typical of small immigrant upstarts.

Hooray for lax immigration.
