Your life and your memories are important to capture and treasure and hold close to your heart for the rest of your life. As an entertainment professional, I always enjoyed and craved the art of storytelling and creating a lasting memory. It wasn't until I took my sister's engagement photos that I started taking photography seriously and enrolled in Santa Monica College photography program.
Now I have strong experiences in all areas of photography whether it be portraits using natural light or bringing in lighting to create a more artistic feel. I have shot a wide range of genres and while I typically shoot digitally, I also love to shoot with film. My photography style would be described as creative photojournalism.

Services
Approach- I photograph events in an artistic photojournalistic style which allows images to be taken in a completely non-intrusive manner. My aim is to make images that convey an authentic sense of your event as it unfolds, in a creative and artistic way while keeping in mind the style and/or branding necessary for event photography.

I had a great experience with Elizabeth! I had to reschedule and she was flexible and accommodating. She knew all the good spots to go to, had great ideas, and was professional and relaxed which helped me feel creative and free with my poses. Turned the photographs around quickly and they turned out great.

While I am not new to getting professional photography done, Elizabeth's process was very unique, comfortable, and extremely relaxing - and the results speak for themselves. She was able to curate and direct the whole photoshoot exceptionally.The whole time, I never felt like I was getting "pro" photo's done - there was this effortless feeling that she captured in every moment. It was almost like I was with an old friend who instinctively knew me and how to bring out the best in every shot. I really can't recommend Elizabeth enough. She's that good. I can't wait to get some more done with her!

I highly recommend Elizabeth Dixon Photography - one of the best family photographers I have seen, and affordable, too!
I was finally able to have my first professional photo shoot with my family since my son was born, after years of battling cancer. I couldn’t be happier with the results! I literally cried tears of joy when Elizabeth sent me the photos. I honestly wasn’t sure if we were going to get any good shots. We took the photos right after Thanksgiving on a cold, windy day, and we were trying to wrangle a 5-year-old, a dog, and a slightly fussy husband.

Elizabeth is such an amazing photographer. Super professional and down to earth. Elizabeth did our engagement photos and since we loved them so much when we were pregnant and hired her to do our maternity shoot, baby shower and new born shoots as well. I also used Elizabeth for my professional portrait photos and headshots. Amazing photographer! Elizabeth has photographed 4 huge events for me now. She was the solo photographer for a couple 1000 person events and somehow managed to capture everything. She's great with influencers and gets the branded shots you need without being reminded. Her work is perfection! As a bonus, she has technology that allows for instantaneous photo sharing, which means your guests put more on social media. Highly recommend her!
