Banks Pools was founded by Jack Banks in 1964 as the one of the first Swimming Pool service companies in Kansas City. Jack built 5-6 pools a year and pioneered many of the quality standards for swimming pool construction still in use today. Jack sold the business to Roger Banks, his youngest son, in 1982.
Roger immediately sought to expand with the incorporation of Banks Pool and Spa Design in 1983 as the construction element of the company. Roger, as Grandma Banks puts it, "took the ball and ran, " with both companies. Since its inception, Banks Pool and Spa Design has constructed well over 1,300 swimming pools in the Kansas City area with full service capabilities from Banks Service Company.

Banks Pools built our pool 14 years ago and we have had a great experience with them. The building process went smoothly and the pool is beautiful. Since that time we have always used Banks for service as well as the retail store for supplies. We would not even consider switching. Banks Pool and Spa constructed our pool in 2005.
