In the process of selling our house, the home inspector noted that our house had a very high rate of Radon present. The number was 10. We were advised by our realtor to call RDS. We did, and they came over, assessed the situation, and installed a Radon Mitigation system for a very reasonable price. When moving into to my new home I was informed by the home inspector that the Radon levels were at a 16 pci, high enough to obiviously warrent concern. Enter RDS Environmental who have been incredibly professional and top notch from day 1 of installing my mitigation system. My house has been an odd ball in that the intial installation set ups were not getting my pci number under a 4. RDS took various measures and steps to pinpoint the issue by adding an additional suction point all in a very timely manner. They completed all work in a timely manner. Once the work was done, they reviewed their work, what to expect and answered all questions. Had these guys out to install a radon mitigation system on our home. Very easy to schedule. The crew was very knowledgeable, friendly and finished the job in less time than discussed. They stayed around to make sure we were comfortable with the system and thoroughly explained how to test for radon after they left. We had radon testing and mitigation services performed by RDS on our home. A professional and easy company to work with. Their personnel were knowledgeable and answered my all of my questions. They provide quotes and information electronically in a timely manner.
RADON TESTING:
We had TJ come out to perform the radon testing. He was on time and got everything setup quickly to meet our tight schedule that day. They had a piece of equipment fail, but had backups in place, so there was no impact to us. I really appreciated that because we have busy schedules. TJ also wore shoe covers to protect

RDS is awesome. They gave me a bid and had no issue with me waiting 3 months to schedule them. Once scheduled they were very professional and extremely helpful to understand what they were doing and any things I, as the homeowner, should be aware of. During installation the winds prevented them from finishing the top section of the mitigation system. I figured it might be a while to get them back out but no, they were back the next day to finish the job and make sure the radon system was working correctly so we could start the post mitigation test. I highly recommend them for your radon mitigation

Joe and Juan showed up and were very friendly and professional. The radon mitigation system took about three hours to install. When they were done, they explained every component of the system - both inside and outside the house as well as the details of the warranty and radon test kit. The RDS team which installed our radon fan was very kind, professional and knowledgeable. They made a point of showing me each step in the process, offering me options, and making sure that I was in agreement with what they proposed before they proceeded. Once they completed the work, they took me through each part (sealing of the crawl space with plastic, how to access my sump pump, the various important parts of the fan and pipes, the wiring, etc.) I am not a handy person, and I felt very confident about their work after their clear explanations.
