We can't control what happens after hours so we have a staff member on call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for situations that require immediate attention such as when hospital/emergency room patients need a new brace. If you need assistance right away, please call 513.793.7335 and listen for our on-call service.
With these uncertain times when it comes to health insurance, there are always questions about cost and coverage. We want to know: how much am I going to have to pay for a particular service? This is a very valid question. I hope these answers will help you! WHAT IS A DEDUCTIBLE? You're deductible is the amount you have to pay before insurance will start paying their portion (I have seen deductibles range from $0 to $5,000 per person).
We provide the most comprehensive services available in the tri-state area because we have certified orthotists and pedorthists, certified orthotic fitters, athletic trainers, physical therapy assistants and brace specialists on staff as well as friendly and knowledgeable administrative support professionals to help you with appointment setting, insurance concerns, and follow-up.

Tammy was wonderful. She took the time to explain the process she would be using to make my orthotic inserts. She took great care to make sure my measurements were as accurate as possible to ensure a great fit. She was able to locate a great pair of shoes for me and set up my follow up appointment. A wonderful experience for my first visit. I would highly recommend.

What an excellent experience! Not only were they professional, friendly and able to work me in last minute for my neck brace. They also readjusted an identical brace purchased at a competitor, which was not set correctly, at no charge.
I would recommend Bioworks to anyone needing an orthotic brace of any type!

We've used Bioworks for my son's orthotics for 3 years now. Steve has always been very patient and kind with my son who is not always cooperative. He also listens to my concerns as a parent and takes them into account when making recommendations. Really pleased with the level of care we've received!

We have gotten 2 pairs of AFO's from here for my son at ages 3 and 4. Steve worked so well with him and had lots of patience when he wasn't cooperating with the process. It's very convenient they meet us at children's to collaborate with his physical therapist. They also worked well with us when we had insurance issues. Great experience!

We have been very impressed with the expertise and knowledge of the Bioworks staff. We feel that they took a lot of time to explain the process of ordering custom orthotics for our young child, and the staff were very patient with us during measuring and fitting our small wiggly kiddo. They even fit us in when we missed our appointment window! Thank you so much for your kindness and compassionate service.

So far we've only had the consultation / fitting appointment, so I can't review the rest of the process, but my experience was great!
I've been trying for about 2 months to get my infant son 3 different orthotics through Cincinnati Children's. Their process requires three appointments per orthotic (consultation, taking measurements, and final fitting), so 9 appointments all together. I only have a car in the late afternoon and evening, but Children's has a one month wait for those appointments. Two months into the process, we had only been able to get one of the appointments accomplished, and

After having my Achilles tendon replaced I needed my leg stabilized for a couple months. I was concerned that I would have to have a new boot, even though I had one I had been using for a couple months before the surgery. I brought my boot to my post-op visit. The Bioworks staff was able to take it apart and put it back together so I didn't have to buy another one.

Edit: The brace company went above and beyond to make the brace and overnight it from mexico due to the order not being placed for the 2nd brace or gear. I spoke with craig and got a whole bunch of stuff cleared up as they did not even take any info from me when I was measured and the order for the braces put in. They were able to have someone get the braces and paperwork figured out right before I had to leave for my trip. I was about 40 minutes late :/ which making a big group wait stinks lol but just waiting to get the billing figured out as the only numbers on Pricing and what ossur was charging
