Moosehead Hills Cabins
Choose between two spectacular lakes when you visit us at Moosehead Hills Cabins. At our home base on Moosehead Lake, our log cabins are perched on 50 acres of breathtaking views, with nature trails to our waterfront. Across town on another large lake-crystal clear Loon Lake (aka Wilson Pond)-we have two log cabins with private waterfronts and equally stunning views.

Experience the majesty of Moosehead Lake by hiking, going on a moose safari, or trying your hand at mushing a dog sled. Snowmobile from your cabin onto several hundreds of miles of trails. There is magic in the wilderness here that will remain with you long after you leave. Enjoy our beautiful sunsets, and the views of the lake and mountains from the deck of your log cabin.

We stayed at Sunrise Lodge on Wilson pond. Well appointed, gorgeous house, very comfortable beds, gas fireplace. A couple miles from town. No WiFi but we brought our hotspot and that worked fine.

This was one of my best birthdays. Thank you. The view of the pond was spectacular. The sunrise from all cabin views delivered. We are already discussing the next one. And hopefully bringing the kids.

What a beautiful beautiful spot. We stayed in Kineo cabin and were blown away. The views are amazing and cabin cozy, dog friendly was a huge perk. Host was able to give us tips on where to spot moose and we encountered a cow and her calf (on the morning of my birthday!) An unforgettable trip, highly recommend we will certainly be back!

Sunrise Lodge was heaven. Our second trip to Greenville and our first to Moosehead Hills. The lodge was beyond anything we imagined. My dream home has always been a log home on a lake so for a bit I was living my dream. We had the firepit at night listening to the loons on the lake. We were lucky to have an incredible moonrise one night over the mountains. The weather was iffy but we had no problem enjoying every second there. The last morning we were given the gift of a beautiful sunrise. The home was incredible. Everything about it showed such craftsmanship. I would never be able to say enough

Lovely we’ll equipped cabins with a spectacular view. Hosts were friendly and attentive. Great dock on the lake with kayaks. The wood burning stove was a bonus.

This was our first time staying here and we loved it!! We come up every year in Sept. Staying either in Rockwood or Kokadjo!! This year we chose these cabins for the proximity to town! And loved the convenience it provided at the same time we had privacy, great views and a very clean cabin!! Thank you both! Hope to be there next Sept. As well!

First thing you cant help but notice when you arrive at Moosehead Hills Cabins is the breathtaking view. Situated up on the hill side over looking the lake which stretches out as far as one can see framed by mountains on each side. The view is inescapable as it fills the windows of both bedrooms and the deck with its splendor. Cabins offer a cozy clean atmosphere with access to the lake down a walk downhill. Snowmobile access trail comes right to driveway of cabins and down to the lake. Cabins has a well stocked kitchen if you plan to make your own meals. However a short 10 minute drive and your

We have stayed at these cabins two years in a row and they are wonderful. We always go during the off season because our summers are too hectic. This year we went on one of the coldest weekends of the year (it was -16 at night) but you would never know it from inside the cabins. The wood fire makes it so cozy and the scenery can't be beat. The views from the two cabins we have stayed in were phenomenal (I posted pictures to google from our most recent stay). Truly magical. They also have well marked trails right down to the lake and the little nature walk is a must do. I will say that if you go

Can not say enough amazing things about Moosehead Hills cabins, we stayed Labor Day weekend at the loon cabin on Wilson pond and had the great weekend with family. From kayaking to hiking, dinner down town and golfing the area is great for beautiful scenery and loads of adventure and fun for the whole family. The cabin we rented was beyond beautiful no detail was left out! From the king sized beds, jacuzzi tubs, fireplace and that romantic sun rise over the pond I can without a doubt say we plan on renting a cabin every summer from Moosehead hills Cabins!
