Thank you, Joe for helping us out! We had to get asbestos testing for a floor installation with Home Depot and Home Depot did not tell us that we had to have somebody come on site to take the sample, so we want with a different company at first that I sent a sample in to. So when I found out that our first test wouldn't work, I called Puget Sound Abatement and Joe came out to our house first thing the next business day and had test results for us that afternoon! It kept our project on track. Thanks so much!

We were able to handle the removal of abpestos popcorn ceilings while living in another country with the help of Puget Sound Abatement. When we finally arrived to our local home, we did have a minor electrical issue BUT Puget Sound Abatement dealt with the situation quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend this company!

Absolutely horrible company. From the very beginning there were issues. Had them come out to give me an estimate to perform abatement on asbestos tape that I had on furnace ductwork in my basement and received a decent bid. Had to repeatedly call to set up an appointment for them to come out and do the work. Finally got on the books and they came to do the abatement, but instead of taking the tape off the joints, they completely ripped out all my ducts and damaged my home in the process. Called the project manager assigned to me to complain and he said that my ducts were completely encased -- they

Very very reasonably priced. On time in mornings. Workers courteous. Decent job. Wiling to go the extra mile. Only reason not giving 5 stars is they needed 2 days to do job properly instead of one day initially quoted. They accidentally damaged an alarm door sensor when they removed door and were a bit rough removing base board trim that we wanted to keep intact to reinstall. I would hire them again for asbestos floor abatement.

Dan Powers is a man of his word!! He stated at the start of the job if anything came up he would take care of it. We had asbestos removed from our ceiling over a month ago, just last week we were re- installing our light fixtures and noticed that they were broken. I hesitated to call a month later, but was met with the same positive response as I did in the beginning. He had new light fixtures delivered the next day. I highly recommend PSA and will use them again in the future.

The guys came out for a few days to remove a lot of asbestos tape from my air ducts in the crawlspace of a home i just bought. They were really nice, and seemed professional enough.
The problem is the job was only 90% done.
Luckily I went down in the crawlspace to do my own vapor barrier, and wanted to seal up the ducts and start reinsulating everything.
That's when I found tons of asbestos tape STILL ON THE DUCTS.
They had left a fair amount of it right near the seams of the ducts (which is honestly the LAST

"I'm so excited to find out that I need to have asbestos removed from my home" said no one ever. When I contacted Puget Sound Abatement I'm sure I was in the most foul of moods, as I had just found out that my basement floor work could not move forward because of some long-forgotten tiles underneath the current vinyl floor. I worked with Joe who was patient and informative. He came out to inspect my job right away and walked me through what needed to be done. We had a very large boiler that we needed removed and a very high maintenance tenant who was very difficult through the process. Joe, Sam and team took a lot of extra time and maintained exceptional professionalism to appease our tenant. I'm currently in the process of replacing a ceiling that was damaged by a leaky pipe. It's pretty old so I thought there was a pretty good chance of having lead paint and/or asbestos so I called Puget Sound Asbestos to perform the tests and give us a bid for removal. During our carpet installation, suspected asbestos tiles and glue were found under the existing carpet. Work was halted while our belongings resided in an open carport. Much thanks to Daniel for his fast response and knowledgeable guidance! He arrived within a few hours and we received lab results the same day which enabled our installation to proceed. (While the tiles were asbestos, they had not been broken during the carpet removal and the glue was negative.)

We recently worked with Puget Sound Abatement project coordinator Kevin Ballard and were so pleased with the quality of our service. After removing a boiler system in a 1913 North Tacoma craftsman, we were faced with asbestos pipes in the basement and fibers in the air.
From the start, Kevin was courteous and attentive and returned each and every call promptly (which if you're facing asbestos in your house, is incredibly important). He was early to our quote appointment, got me a quote that same day, and pulled our permits as soon as we gave the go ahead.

Dan from PSA was immediately available to discuss our job & was testing our site within 24 hrs. He was very serious about their business & took plenty of time to inform us about all of the tests we had them do.
