Really good blackened Grouper! Flaky and buttery with spices that have some nice flavor without ruining the fish. Also had Key West Salad which was very light and tasty.
Coleslaw is a ripoff at $3 and is good but not great. Steamed veggies were nice.
AMEX not accepted; which makes it a 4, despite a decent overall experience.
Good luck parking, even on a Monday night post dinner rush.

My husband & I had dinner at The Fish House for the first time tonight; our friends also were with us. Our wonderful waiter, Milton, was excellent. He answered questions & helped me choose my meal. My coconut shrimp were good, buy a bit overcooked. The sauce was delicious! Hush puppies were bland. The grouper was very good, but cod was OK, but we wouldn't order that next time. We ate in the enclosed patio which was great with good space. Parking is challenging, but we finally found a space in the nextdoor lot.

Chicken tacos were good. I was hoping the New England style seafood would be better, but it didn't hit the spot. Baked stuff lobster was just the tail and the crab stuffing that came with it wasn't great. The hush puppies and smoked dip were good though. I'm sure the local seafood options would have been a better bet. Feels like a place where it's nice to drink and munch for a bit.

Ok. From the road you would say it is a typical Florida fried everything fish house. Been there done that. But you would be wrong. Where else in southern Florida can tou get broiled pompano with lemon sauce? Ok, it was a special when I was there, but it was special. Look over their specials when you get there and don't pass them up. Service was outstanding. Parking seems limited, but they have parking east of the restaurant that isn't apparent from the road.

Took my wife and my favorite local real estate agent to dinner for her birthday at the fish house in Bonita Springs. It was our first time visiting since relocation to the area from NY. The ambiance is great, nothing beats sitting on the water to enjoy your dinner. The service was great but the food was the best. All the seafood was fresh and everything was great including the desert. If you are a local or visiting the area on vacation, Frank Procopio the Naples Agent highly recommended the fish house in Bonita springs!

First time to the fish house. It was delightful. First off, Crystal our waitress, was fantastic. She was amazing. The food, spectacular. I got the pompano with shrimp. Super good. Great soups, awesome desserts. I highly recommend this place!
Update: Been back several times after my first review. Tried new items each time. I honestly can say, this is a delightful place. Haven't had a bad experience. Thanks so much!
