Phoetography's point is to promote and provide the most profoundly peaceful perspective possible for as many people as possible. I am Christian Langston Davidson. I am a photographer and an author. I'd like to think that, by the grace of the God in whom I believe with all my heart, my photographic eye and my writer's voice are excellent and worthy of an audience.
Pixelation is a problem, both in print and on the Internet. The marketplace has been flooded with both camera-equipped devices and photographs. The Internet is a repository of several trillion unique images. There can be no problem in finding an image for any purpose. Yet despite the overwhelming surplus of images, a great deal of the images that appear on the Web don't have a resolution suitable for every possible use.
You are also welcome to browse through smaller galleries accompanied by discussion or creative writing. I tend to group those galleries by a particular shoot or month. Images like these may be great for websites, billboards, magazines, book covers, greeting cards, calendars, flyers, travel guides, postcards, brochures, product packaging, etc.
As we go through life, usually needing to exercise caution, often being forced to stop and wait, and occasionally going with the flow full of gusto, we find that there is a fire within. It is a climbing vine trying to get us to fulfill our potential. A foreboding cloudy sky obscured sunset, and strong thunderstorms rolled in after sunset.
When there's sky afire in your mind; when a wild fire rages in your soul; when your thoughts have become dappled; when you're tempted to look to Venus and a cloud for your satisfaction; when you yearn to be in the pink and in the clouds. During autumn it's tempting to spend all of the time admiring the colorful foliage, but I recommend that, every now and then, take a look around at some of the other sights the season has to offer.
