Tom Anderson began working as a Carpenter in 1978 on some of the first Condominium Projects in Jamaica Plain. Tom soon acquired expertise in tiling bathroom floors and walls and discovered a passion for this new form of art in his life. Tom opened Anderson Tile Contracting for business in 1980. As Anderson Tile moved through the 80s and into the 90s, the company began to install kitchen floors, kitchen counters, and kitchen back splashes.
Entire bathrooms were becoming the rage as well. We introduced Granite Slab kitchen counter installations started in the late 80s and now orchestrate slab installations for Kitchens, Bathrooms and Fireplace Surrounds in conjunction with the tile applications. Anderson Tile handles all types of interior stone application as well as many intricate tile applications.

Our craftsmen also install natural stone products such as granite, marble, tumbled marble, and limestone.
Tom will come to your site and advise you on the best way to do your unique job. Tom will do the layout with you as well and carefully monitor how your job is progressing. Harriett specializes in getting you answers, coordinates schedules, directs you to vendors and products, and serves as liaison between you and every aspect of your project.

I had a difficult tile repair on my shower to do. I had a few guys come by but they weren’t interested in doing the job. Tom came by and explained to me the options that I had. He finished it all in one week and was such a pleasure to work with. He is a very trustworthy sweet guy! I highly recommend him
