The Hawg City story began in 2005 with the founding of Hawg City Grill, a neighborhood restaurant specializing in homemade sausage and American cuisine. The restaurant became a quick neighborhood favorite, expanding the menu to include barbecue ribs, fried chicken and a Friday fish fry. Despite finding quick success with a dedicated customer base, the Great Recession caused Hawg City Grill to close its doors in 2010.

Fortunately, the brand didn't disappear and continued on with its popular sausage and barbecue pork at summer festivals and private catering. Due to critical acclaim, Hawg City returned in 2011 as a dedicated catering business just a few minutes from the original location.

The best Sunday ham I have found in Milwaukee and their sides of potato salads, etc are also top notch. I just filled my frequent buyer card so my next pound of ham will be free. Gotta luv that!

The BEST ham around. Incredible flavor. Rolls are huge and delicious. Reasonably priced as well. Can't wait to try the sausage. I won't go anywhere else for my Sunday ham and rolls!

Fantastic food, Friday fish fry is one of the best. Sunday hot ham has amazing flavor. I’ve had some of the catering items, sausage and pulled pork, simply the best.

Never tried there catering but I do love there Sunday ham and rolls. A great Milwaukee tradition is continued here. The rolls are included with a pound of ham btw.
