Choosing the right nursing home for your loved one is a daunting task. At Elder Guide, we try to streamline this process by giving you the tools necessary to begin your search. Esther, at Elder Guide, handled my father’s Medicaid appeal. Because of the nature of his health problems, there were very few documents that we could access. We first contacted Elderguide in October 2020, to help a family friend navigate the Medicaid process. Throughout the process we were helped by Sara K, who walked us through all the steps needed to get approval for Medicaid.
Sara was also in contact with the nursing home and kept them informed about where we were in the process. Our friend received Medicaid approval in November 2021. The bottom line is that Elderguide and Sara did exactly what they promised to do and stuck with us for an entire year.

When my mother's health was suddenly compromised I found myself thrust into a world of regulations and red tape. It was unnerving and overwhelming. I had a wonderful experience working with Mirel from Elder Guide to assist in getting Medicaid for my grandmother. She was very professional when answering all of my questions and returned my calls and emails quickly. As for most people, applying for Medicaid is a daunting process and she made it so easy! I really don't post anything but I needed to with the experience I had with Elder Guild and most of all Esther Sturman. I was very frustrated with all the obstacles that i had with the Medicaid application for my mom. It was overwhelming and tiresome that every time i turned around there was something else wrong. I worked with ElderGuide, and Sara specifically to apply for Medicaid for my father and stepmother, at the recommendation of their assisted living facility. They did an amazing job of holding my hands the entire away and answering any questions, which led to a successful approval! ElderGuide helps facilitate Medicaid applications and I must say, their service is excellent! They meet with you, discuss all details and work hard to make sure everything is in order. They communicate throughout the process to ensure you know where things are up to. Unfortunately obtaining Medicaid can be a very long and daunting task, however, they literally allow you to put your feet up while they get it done.

The service we received from Elderguide was well worth the fee to us. Their Medicaid Case Manager always listened, did the all "the heavy lifting," and was very responsive during our association.
