Q: My old '92 F-350 7.3L IDI work truck has started blowing white smoke when pulling grades. The engine has 50,000 miles on a rebuild that included rebuilt injectors. What would be my best route on finding good injectors? They seem to be a little hard to find. A: Finding injectors for the old Ford IDI Navistar 7.3s isn't that difficult whether shopping on eBay, or brick-and-mortar diesel fuel-injection shops like Mobile Diesel Service.

Let’s just say, I’m lucky too have found a company with such great customer service and awesome mechanics. I leave my projects in their hands without hesitation. Their not afraid to take on complicated projects. The pricing is very reasonable considering the establishment and experience. Thank you, MDS Diesel! You guys Rock!

Don’t waste your money here, they can’t fix simple brakes, not thorough. I was told my brakes were fixed when they weren’t but didn’t find that out until I drive 100 miles.

Great bunch of guys! I probably wouldn't have stopped today but they had Louie's redneck Dawgs in there serving up lunch. Bacon cheddar dogs were really good. Great service & great food. Hope you guys keep him around!

Had my 2012 Newmar motorhome suspension upgraded and before that the diesel engine in my 2010 Ford F-250 rebuilt. The techs did awesome work on both big jobs. On time and without any cost surprises. Their new shop in Sutherlin has plenty of parking space.

I'd disregard the "review" from "ellis cornbread" as it's completely bogus. MDS doesn't sell trucks. I do know the diesel and mechanical service I've received at Mobile Diesel over the years on both RVs and trucks, has always been exceptional. Their techs are well-trained and everyone does their best to provide customers with top-shelf service. The only downside is they are so well respected in the diesel community that they are always really busy, so big repair jobs need to be booked in advance.

This shop and crew are great! Many talented techs who can work on all types of diesels. Im driving a Mercedes 1017 (former military) Global Expedition Vehicle and developed a coolant leak coming from the motor (suspected head gasket). Service Tech Matt and crew were able to diagnose the issue to be something other and complete the repair under the scheduled due date.
MDS has worked in conjunction with EuroTech as a parts supplier on a few former military trucks and Unimogs. I highly recommend cling both shops if you require parts and service to see if they can help you out!
Best,
Martin

I was getting some additional blowby and found an article Mobile Diesel Services wrote up about using a Case/ Holland dual valve cover breather. The price was $125.00 compared to close to $300 for a Cummins. The kit was missing the 2 rubber grommets but they quickly sent out. I had oil dripping from the crankcase breather before this and now I’ve got no oil. An awesome addition to any diesel to help with crankcase pressure and blowby.

These guys are fantastic ! ...I had a truck broke down with a load that needed to deliver ASAP...i contacted the local KW shop and was basically told i wouldn't be able to get parts or get my truck back on the road till after the weekend. By then I would have lost a new customer.

So I called Mobile Diesel Service and spoke to Jason. after making a few phone calls I located the parts needed...over 100 miles away...Their repair tech made the parts run for me, came back the next morning and had my truck rolling that afternoon !

Jason and all the guys that helped make that happen are great
