My garage door spring broke, so I called my usual garage door repair company to make an appointment. They said they couldn't come until 3 days later, and their estimate over the phone sounded excessive.
So, I fired up Yelp to look for another company and found Real Garage Doors and their awesome reviews. I called and they said they would squeeze me in between two appointments later in the day, and their estimate was half the cost of the other company!
They ended up coming an hour after I called, and 30 minutes later they replaced the spring and did general maintenance on the opener and

Mike & Chris are absolutely professional & Efficient.
We were looking for someone to take care of our garage door for few months but most of the people we contacted were very unresponsive.
We got a referral for Chris from our neighborhood. I contacted Chris on phone and he got into action immediately. We have a new door and we are so happy with the work these guys did!!

I called Chris for some emergency help on my garage door cables coming off track and jamming my garage door. I used Real Garage Doors for spring replacements 2 years ago & came back to them with good reason. They are honest, experienced, caring professionals and have very competitive rates for their excellent work.
Chris even took the time yesterday, to try and walk me through temporarily fixing my issue. Ultimately in the end, I needed a pro.

They responded to my Yelp search right away. I was able to take my time in making my decision. And all my questions were answered. No additional fees or vague estimate. And when I was ready to proceed I was given an appointment on the next business day. They called at my appointment time range and let me know they were on the way. Work was done quickly and he made sure everything was working as it should before leaving.

So I go to put my car in the garage and it won't open. I'm leaving for the airport early morning tomorrow and wanted to pack the car tonight, but it is raining terribly. Long story short, I originally called a local company, the guy came, diagnosed it as "springs" that needed repair/replacement, and quoted the charge as $425 PLUS an emergency fee for it being last minute work on a Sunday. Super easy to communicate with and very efficient. I requested a quote I their website, the next morning Chris called me and setup an appointment to replace the garage opener. The technician who came in was very quick and replaced the opener within an hour or so.I was totally satisfied with the work , communication and the price. My garage door broke at 7:30am. I called them at 8am and they said they could have someone out to my house by 11am. They had excellent communication, called me to let me know they were on their way. Nico (I think was his name) was fantastic and fixed it in half an hour if that. Very professional. They will be my go to for all garage door needs.

Called for same day service and was able to book an appointment. Rep I spoke with seemed busy but still willing to help me and didn't make me feel rushed. My issue dealt with a broken spring. Seems as though it's pretty common and had parts readily available. Cost wise I found a different company for a bit lower but decided to go with RGD since they were able to accommodate me quickly. My repairman was Ernesto and he was like speedy Gonzales. He was calm, cool and collected. I must say he's an expert and made the job look easy. I was able to pay with a check since I didn't have
