We are mindful of the challenges that continue to exist during the current pandemic, and how they may have effected receiving necessary mental health care. At Treasure Valley Psychology, we continue to provide services via telethealth whenever possible, both for the safety of our patients, but also the safety of our providers and staff.
Limited in-office visits have resumed (in accordance with local health authority and CDC guidance), and protocols have been put in place to maintain the safety of our patients, providers, and staff. We will continue to practice safe social-distancing guidelines and require the proper use of masks in all common areas of our office.

It is hard to imagine a practice with less consciousness around the needs of its patients. After you schedule an initial session, the practice decided to not be responsible for any kind of reminder system. No texts. No emails. Not even a card with your dates. And then if (and likely when) you miss your apt they slap a $75 fine on your account. So they are already asking for excess mental energy and money in most instances. But what is most disappointing is that when I actually got on the schedule after my second apt, the psychologist did not have an opening for another month. I don’t know about

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Heather Hoyt as my psychologist for a few months. I was in the early stages of the separation/divorce process. She is an amazing listener and very supportive. I felt that she was always on my team. She had very good open ended suggestions on how to deal with what I was going thru. She made me think about what I had said and my actions. I really appreciate her help and if I hadn't had to leave town she'd still be my psych today. Thank you Dr. Hoyt!
