Made an appointment for an oil change and inspection. Super easy to set up over the phone, oil change was reasonably priced. But they failed me on the inspection, citing brakes and tires. I was skeptical, so I took my car to my usual mechanic back home. He told me both the brakes and tires are legal and safe, and passed me. So don’t trust these guys, they will happily steal your money. Especially if you’re obviously a college student and have no relationship with this mechanic.

I called on a Wednesday to get a complete brake job. I dropped my car off on Friday morning at 8 and at 12 it was done with the exact quote given.

I recently bought a used car from a local dealership and it was given to me with old tires that barely had any tread remaining. I had G & G install new tires for me, balance them, and do an alignment. Now my car rides so smooth and it feels great. These guys have always taken great care of my cars. I did not have much time to prepare for a long distance trip which led to my car not really ready for the journey. This led to me driving long distance on bad tires and having car troubles in Vermont (I am from IL). The mechanic in VT told me how bad my tires were and suggested I get some new tires as soon as possible. G&G was the closest shop and got me in quickly at a good price and I was on my way. The rest of the trip went smoothly. Thank you!!!

We had an excellent experience at G & G while on a road trip. We showed up 15 minutes before opening on a Saturday morning. We had super friendly, quick service. They did a great tire patch job for $30 (run flat tires) while one of us walked the kids to the nearby marina for a lake view (8-10 minute walk).
