Sheila has 25+ years of experience. She has had training with companies such as Goldwell and Tigi. She has attended the Tony and Guy academy for hair cutting, worked on Newbury Street, and has done hair for the International Beauty Show in NYC! I don’t usually write reviews but this time I felt I need to let others know about my experience with hairspray salon. So I purchased 2 groupons (one for me & one for my daughter) for haircut, deep conditioning and style. I booked an appointment for myself first and I’m really thankful I tried them first and not my daughter.
Let me just start by the hair wash, so she wet my hair put some shampoo on the crown part of my head and at the same time told me she’s applying a conditioner to the ends. So I asked her, did you shampoo the hair? She said yes, which is weird cause it’s my head so

I recently moved to the area and was faced with the challenge of building a trusting relationship with a new stylist. A local friend referred Kate Mooney and her very talented staff to me. Not only did I find the professionalism and expertise that I was looking for but I also found a very warm and inviting environment with amazing customer service! Needless to say, me and my two daughters have found a new home for all of our hair needs! 5 big stars for Hairspray!

Best salon I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Andrea is the best around hands down. Haircut is always on point and absolutely perfect. Atmosphere here is wonderful! I drive well out of my way just to come to Hairspray for my cuts. I highly recommend Hairspray Salon to everyone, you will never want to go anywhere else!

My best friend had been doing my hair for more than 20 years!!!! My friend was located more than an hour away (each way) and worked out of her home.... I felt as though things were to chaotic at her house and I just wasn't getting anything different so I felt it was time to find someone new. VERY SCARY -BUT then I met KATE MOONEY! During my first visit she talked to me and actually listened to what I wanted - and I wasn't even nervous I was EXCITED for a change. :) Kate gave me an awesome new haircut which I received MANY compliments on! She now cuts and colors my son's hair

Best colorist I've ever been to! Kate is fantastic and I've never left the salon without being 100% satisfied with my hair! She really listens to exactly you want. I brought in a picture of a ombré/bolyage that I wanted and she matched it perfectly! She is up to date with the latest hair color and cut trends. Hairspray salon is the best in the area and I have recommended it to all of my friends.

I love Hairspray! I've been seeing Kate for close to eight years. She's been great dealing with my crazy curly hair.
The salon is beautiful, and the location is so easy to get to no matter where you live (I'm in Hopkinton).
Do yourself a favor & make an appointment with Kate, or the other stylists in the salon!

As a new client I was incredibly pleased and impressed with the customer service, products, and most importantly the outcome of my style and color!!! I had the pleasure of having Kate the owner as my stylist. Her attention to detail not just on me but on all of the clients that walked out of hairspray salon should be commended. Only because you're not allowed to give zero stars. I made an appointment two weeks in advance for after work. After rushing to make the appointment, it looked as though the salon was closed. Called the phone number and the woman said she had been called away for an emergency appointment and had been trying to reach me. Chose to take my business elsewhere and ask for a refund on the Groupon rather than waste my time going all the way there again to be met with a dark salon.
