Your appointment will be comfortable and enjoyable because of our team and the relaxed environment that we have created. Dr. Woodson was born and raised in the courthouse area of Gloucester, Virginia. College eventually led him to Richmond, Virginia, and the School of Dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia.

With dental degree in hand, it was off to Greenville, NC for residency. Residency is not required for dentists. These programs provide additional experience in an area of study. For instance, oral surgery or orthodontics. Back in 2002, there was no East Carolina University School of Dentistry. Instead, The ECU Brody School of Medicine offered dentists a one-year General Practice residency.

Dr Woodsons dental office is the best dental care I could have ever chosen 11 years ago for my son Noah. They are so attentive and explain everything to you step by step. They also always make you and your child fell very comfortable.

After having the same dentist for over 40 years we moved to the Outer Banks and my former dentist referred Woodson Dentistry to us. They were amazing and kind and very thorough. My hygienist was very sweet and Dr. Woodson was very personable. So thankful they were accepting new patients and I highly recommend them! 🤗

I have known them a long time doing my family’s teeth and Dr Bryan retired and I’m glad y’all are going to do me also. The only reason I stayed with Dr Bryan was I have known him since the early eighties cause his sister worked with me at the store my family owned.

My dentist of almost 40 years recently retired, so I knew I would need to find a new dentist. A friend recommended Woodson Dentistry and I am sure glad she did! My hygienist, Stacey, was AWESOME - friendly and gentle! Dr. Woodson was also so friendly and put me right at ease. A great dental visit at a really great office. After X-rays , a cleaning and time spent with Dr. Woodson, I was on my way. Very pleased!

Best dentist experience ever. My hygienist went above and beyond while cleaning my teeth. She was very professional, educational and had great personality. Dr. Woodson was also amazing. He answered all of my questions and did a very good job checking my teeth. He is definitely a very intelligent dentist! Highly recommend this office for any adult or child.
