I had been a long-time customer at Los Compadres on Pensacola street until my last visit earlier this month (January 2022) when I went there for lunch. We started going there when they had $1.00 tacos on Wednesdays before they changed it to Tuesdays like everyone else. I took the kids there for their birthdays and event went on my last birthday. So, I received my meal a little slow but thatās normal and was ok. I ordered a second margarita and the waitress put it on a tray with a whole bunch of other drinks at the bar. Another customer at the bar picked up my drink off of the serving tray and

Best restaurant in Tallahassee. Iāve come here to study and write papers. Iāll buy two tacos with my laptop out and theyāll keep the chips and drinks coming. Taken multiple girls here on dates and all have loved it. Salsa is bussin. The beers are hefty. They pour the Margs perfectly strong (one will get you feeling good). The tacos Al Pastor are my actual number one favorite food in the entire earth not even lying. I have spent hundreds of dollars here with no regrets. Miss you lots hope to be back soon.

To check out this place for the $5 margaritas which were delicious. My issues with this place was the fact that they are very busy and short staffed. There were 3 different parties including us who waited about 15 minutes to be attended to. There was no one working the hostess counter when we walked in and workers would just walk right past you without saying anything. When we were finally sat they never notified our waiter so people who sat after us were waited on before us. Food was mediocre but it was a good price and our food arrived to our table

My family and I have been coming here for 7 YEARS and have never been dissapointed. The margaritas are strong, the food is great, service exceptional, and the price is reasonable every time. The manager and his staff are always great and friendly! I have been to multiple different restaurants in Tallahassee and Los Compadres continues to be my go to. I recently moved to the east side of town near Monticello and still drive clear across town to eat here because it is SO worth it! I ā¤ Los Compadres!

The food was amazeballs!!! In all seriousness I have driven past this place 1 million times this afternoon I came with my family and my tastebuds are so happy!! I am a food person that will travel 1 hour plus for good food, this place made my day!! Eat here, it was so good, I didn't get pictures till I had already been in my plate!

Service was very slow and no one was on the inside when we were seated. The waitress was so bland and appeared to not want to be there, it took a lifetime to get appetizers and for the guacamole and chips we received an avocado salad and returned the avocado salad and told the waitress it should be guacamole like mashed, she took it away and brought it back, it had no flavor so we didnāt eat it and sent it back and later the manager came over and said he couldnāt take it off the bill because we can order it 2 different ways, that way or tell them exactly how we want it??? How would we know

Great food and great people! Margaritas are always top notch. They've been doing a great job trying to serve the Tallahassee community during all of the instability lately. During the COVID19 pandemic, they're offering all of their usual specials for pick-up or delivery, including beers and margaritas. They're honoring their usual weeknight specials too! Love them and will continue to support this local Tallahasee business.

Just okay. Not terrible, but there are definitely better places in Tally. Service was good, menu was not appealing, drinks were okay, and food was (again) okay. A big pet peeve of mine is placing a family with young children directly behind me in a booth when there are empty tables literally all around. I understand clustering tables together but come on, can I get a one table buffer so I don't have to deal with young kids pushing on the other side of the bench/booth and I can have adult conversations.

I went and got lunch here one day during my lunch break. I had tried to call the restaurant several times to place an order for pickup, but they didn't pick up. When I arrived 10 minutes later, it didn't look to crowded (though it could have cleared up in those ten minutes) but there wasn't anyone behind the bar where the phone is and where they take to-go orders, so I'm assuming no one knew the phone was ringing. It took about 5-10 minutes for someone to come and take my order, as it seemed everyone thought it was someone else's job/task to take to-go orders. In the end

I could tell from first glance at the Corona flags this is pretty much your standard College town Mexican restaurant. Our server was nice enough and took our order as if she had performed this task thousands of times before. The food was simply prepared but tasty enough. Now I do not drink but the Margaritas looks very good. Best part for me was the price which I considered reasonable.

In general I like the vibe Mexican restaurants have, you get that vibe here as well.
It's a good place to celebrate a birthday since it's spacious and the staff cooperates very well.
Their food is OK, not the best you can get.
Portion sizes are satisfying and prices are fair.
Lots of parking spots are available.

Their margaritas have no reason to be as strong as they are, but I'm glad they are. They have their alcohol to taste ratio on point! Lots Compadres is a consistently great experience, no matter how busy they are, what time of day, or time of year. It's great food, great drinks, and a friendly environment.
I am a fan of their itemized menu, because I always want some variety. It's ~$10 for 3 entree's and a side of beans and rice. Not bad! I haven't strayed from this menu, and I have that's been pleased.

I stopped in here around 10:30 on a Saturday night and grabbed some food while I waited for a concert to start at Atmosphere Pub next door.
The good: The place was not busy at all, service was prompt and everyone was super nice. I ordered #20, a sampler, and tried a little of everything. It was all good but nothing to write home about. My favorite item on the sampler was the fried jalapeƱo poppers.
The bad/notsurewhattothink: The meat in the tamal was either over cooked or old--in either case, very dry. And the music was... different. They were playing Mexican club music over the sound system

Los Compadres is my Mexican place. Great food, friendly staff, soccer playing on the screens. I can't ask for much else.
I know it's not the top of the Mexican ladder in town. There are places more Authentic. Where the epicureans would be offended by the lack of offal in the meat. But it's cheap, its close to my house, the guys working there watch the game with you if its slow and one is on, and they give you like... All the margarita for pocket change.
I'll go here before I go to Maccas next door. Also they are REALLY GOOD about adapting for my GF diet. I have never been
