We may be a 50-year-old company, but one thing's for sure: We're the rare Amarillo-area foundation contractor willing to evolve as our customers' needs evolve. Always have been. Always will be. Childers Brothers began life as a painting/house-moving company in the late 1960s. Brothers Gaylon and Darrol were the founders, and they ran separate sides of the business-Gaylon handled the painting, while Darrol moved houses.
This is why Gaylon ALWAYS performed cosmetic crack repairs to customers' walls before he painted. Simply painting over them? Not an option. Not with Gaylon. Gaylon's the kind of guy with Sherlock-Holmes-levels of curiosity. After repairing wall cracks for dozens of homeowners, Gaylon started wondering why these cracks formed.

Services
Believe it or not, but most foundation repair companies in Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle will get your repair wrong. Unfortunately, many companies offer ONE way to fix your foundation, regardless of the issue. They simply use a cheap, fast, low-quality solution because it's all they know how to do!
A big reason many foundation solutions fail is due to lack of proper diagnosis. And when you consider how quick and superficial the average foundation inspection is, it's easy to see why most diagnoses are wrong. And you shouldn't, since it takes MUCH more testing than that to diagnose a serious ailment accurately.
In our four-plus decades repairing foundations for the Amarillo area, we've had to fix quite a few jobs other companies have performed. And the reason why is almost always the same: The solution the first company chose didn't match the problem. This is why we take the time and effort to find the root cause of your foundation issue with our 27-Point Analysis.
When a homeowner calls us to fix a repair another company performed, the reason is typically the same: The products the other company used failed. That's why our quality standards are rigidly demanding. Before we consider adding a product to our collection, we put it through the wringer. We find out every bit of information about the product.
One of the most important questions you can ask an Amarillo foundation repair company before hiring them is this: "Who, exactly, is going to be working on my foundation?" The truth is that foundation repair requires not just excellent products and equipment, but technicians who are properly trained to utilize and install them.

I asked Childress Brothers to come look at my home. I’d noticed some cracks in my garage floor. Their rep., Cameron Smith, came . After a throughly good check, he determined that my home is very solid, the cracks are normal curing and that I did not need any type of leveling! I can assure you, if I ever have questions again, this is the only company I’ll call!!

Top notch foundation inspectors. We had them look at a house and they we very detailed and let us know every issue the home had. They let us know up front that we are their priority and they were there to protect and educate us. They kept us from making a huge mistake! I would recommend them for all your foundation needs!
