We are a family owned seasonal retail greenhouse in Brookings, SD. Medary Acres has been serving Brookings and the surrounding area for over 60 years! We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality plants and customer service. Whether you're new to gardening or you have years of experience, we can help you find what you need.
How should younger people approach gardening? Gardening is fun, but it's even more fun if you've got someone to help you! This is true throughout the process, including planning what you want to do, picking things out, planting them, and watering them throughout the summer. I like gardening with my sister and my mom.

I love gardening and like green houses also. If you're the type of person who likes to dig in the dirt, soak up the sun, and enjoy a nice day in the garden watering, pulling, and just admiring, then you will love Medary Acres. Very large selection, very fair prices, and friendly staff. Open air with no walls, rows of tables layed out filled with always healthy, vibrant looking plants, sprinklers and misters doing their job, and that fresh air that permeates a quality greenhouse. Walking around inside selecting your plants will set you in the "Definitely ready to garden today" mood. Great place
