Bubba's started as a small bait and tackle shop over 30 years ago, and has grown to become a local's favorite for seafood. Famous for she crab soup, fresh seafood, and an amazing view, Bubba's has made it's deck a tradition for all gatherings. We're the spot where everyone - local or visitor, businessman or fisherman, young or young at heart - can find a seat and something great to eat.

A personalized menu will be made for your event. All sandwiches are served on a deli roll with lettuce, tomato, & ontion with a choice of french fries of cole slaw. This is the maximum number of seats that will be provided & cannot be adjusted after the 1 week mark. This will determine your final balance.

Tried their signature “She crab soup” and crab meat burger. Both were excellent! Their have a nice outdoor seating along the water which was romantic. If you are dining in, decide to spend more than an hour since it gets crowded during the busy hours. There was a huge parking lot outside which was very convenient to park in the otherwise busy neighborhood.

The survival—and some would say, the apotheosis—of the Virginia Beach seafood industry, is achieved at Bubba’s Seafood Restaurant. Sheila and I seldom venture so far from home for our dinner, and it has been several years since we have driven down historic Shore Drive in search of our supper. But I am happy to report that those of us still grieving the loss of the great Monroe Duncan, and his great student and genius chef Bobby Huber of Bobbywood, and the monumental restaurant at Lynnhaven, and Shore Drive Inn, and Alexander’s on the Bay, can today still dine happily on the freshest of

My family reunion [banquet] brunch was hosted here. The food was great. Although I will say for a banquet event, they [like most similar venues] inflate their prices. We had a moderate sized group of 32. The waitresses did their best to be attentive to our needs. They were very kind and accommodating. I really liked the personalized menus as a keepsake. Everyone enjoyed themselves. 👏🏼

I absolutely enjoyed this place!
There was no wait on the Friday night but sat at the bar. The outside patio was so beautiful that next time I am going to sit out there. The bartenders were super attentive, friendly and efficient.
The food was absolutely amazing and I will have to come back.
My only complaint was the host stand didn’t seem to be too friendly and also was left unattended which caused a line to back up at the door. Other than that everything was absolutely amazing, even the manager stopped by to check in and helped when he saw the other guests waiting

Sounded like a good choice for seafood so we gave it a try while visiting the area. Nice view from our table. Friendly staff. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms and they were delicious! Also shared a bowl of each of the she crab soup and New England clam chowder, both were tasty. We shared the Two Crab Cake dinner, broiled, and they were very good. We decided to top it all off with a piece of key lime pie, and it was delicious!

My daughter and I had to check out this place during our road trip to Virginia Beach. Kerri was our waitress, and she was an absolute delight!! I ordered the Softshell Crab Sandy and it was delicious!! I was also impressed with their coleslaw and tarter sauce! My daughter had the grilled chicken, which was cooked perfectly! We also ordered the calamari, which was great! The view was amazing, the restaurant was very clean and I can't wait to go back!!
