MainStage School of Performing Arts offers classes in dance, drama, musical theatre, voice, and improvisation. MainStage WestEnd Theatre produces Broadway shows for the ultimate performance experience. Teachers, Megan and Wheeler offer audition coaching for college auditions, summer programs, and GSA auditions. MainStage focuses on building an artists' community. Collaboration & arts appreciation are at the forefront of the MainStage family.
Services
20 MainStage students have been accepted to either KY Governor's School of the Arts, KY Governor's Scholar Program and/or the KY Governor's School for Entrepreneurs in only 8 years. The MainStage faculty provides audition mentorship, audition submission assistance and letters of recommendation. MainStage students have been accepted to prestigious college arts programs with $250K+ in academic and arts based scholarships.
80% of MainStage parents are educators. We value arts education, and we appreciate that our parents like that we teach a full arts curriculum. Yes, we teach technical skills, but alongside history and social context as well. We also value interpersonal skills, creativity, problem solving, and leadership skills.
