Her unwavering curiosity has been a constant companion on the journey toward making her Gillette's premier functional medicine and aesthetics doctor. Her combined traditional medical, functional and aesthetic approach uniquely tackles inner and outer wellbeing from the inside out and outside in. Where conventional medicine offers a bandage, functional medicine provides a cure.

While traditional diet and exercise are promising for getting rid of love handles, belly fat, and thick arms, they may not be enough. Depression is often stigmatized, but it is important to note that this disease is often due to a chemical imbalance in the brain. A measured course of antidepressants can work to restore chemical balance and get you feeling like yourself again.
While traditional diet and exercise are promising for getting rid of love handles, belly fat, and thick arms, they may not be enough. Body contouring is a method of sculpting the body to achieve one's dream look. Many aesthetic clinics offer both surgical and non-surgical body contouring options. Dr. Gerard is a firm practitioner of functional medicine and as such only offers non-surgical services.
Acne breakouts are always unpleasant and living close to nature can make them even worse. Pimples and the scars they leave behind can become inflamed from frequent exposure to dirt and sunlight. Applying makeup is usually the go-to for hiding acne, but all it does is further skin irritation and flare-ups.
Wrinkle treatment doesn't have to involve complicated procedures or an exorbitant amount of money. Wrinkles and fine lines are frustrating mainly because, at first thought, there is nothing you can do about them. However, with new treatment options that are not only affordable but also non-invasive, there is no longer a need to "just live with it" when it comes to your wrinkles.
Skin rejuvenation is a process that involves exfoliating the skin to smooth pigmentation, reduce the appearance of scars, and improve tightness. While using certain skin care products is advised for fine line and wrinkle reduction and to sustain the appearance of your skin, laser devices can provide more immediate results.

Dr. Gerard is a different kind of doctor. She has all the licenses, certifications, and experience of a seasoned doctor, but wants to "treat" the whole person and not just throw medication at problems to see if they go away. I saw her for a specific issue, but the thoroughness and the time she took for a new patient exam was amazing. I have never before had a doctor's whole focus on my issue and my medical history.
She brings true medical expertise to evaluating nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle choices. She doesn't judge and listened to my personal experiences about my body and mental needs

If I could give no stars I would. This "Dr." is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever seen. I scheduled a new patient appointment to establish care locally, as well as to have my spine looked at. I set my appointment and explained on the phone that I had had 5 open heart surgeries and thus am on several medications. They told me that was fine, and bring a list when I came in. I arrived for my appointment and didn't have my insurance card on me but I had all the information. The "Dr." Came out and looked at me and told me she wouldn't see me without having my card, which I would have understood
