I started diving in Monterey, California in 1988. Enjoying diving so much, I wanted to introduce others to diving so I started instructing in 1993. While in California, I was an active member of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Search and Recovery Dive Team. I am also a certified underwater investigator and prior Law enforcement both civilian and military.

The session starts with a video presentation and a short knowledge session at our dive shop and then participants will go to the pool to experience their first breaths underwater in scuba equipment! Learn the basics of scuba diving and make new friends while doing it. Your adventure awaits, once you're certified you are certified for life (you may need to refresh if you don't dive very often) even more reason to keep diving!
Whether you just finished your PADI Open Water certification, have a beginning level diving certification from another agency or you have hundreds of logged dives. PADI's Advanced Open Water Course gives you the confidence, skills and experience to take your diving to new levels of excitement! To complete the Advanced Open Water Course you will need to complete 5 additional training dives.
Learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver. It's challenging, yet very rewarding. Excellent service and the owner/operator Larry Reinhardt is such a great instructor. His skill and knowledge of all areas of diving are amazing and helpful. I've purchased several scuba gear items and if things aren't in current stock, he makes sure it's ordered and sent out asap. I was an "advanced open water" diver when I first came into the shop, but now with his guidance and instructor skill, I'm now "rescue diver" certified. Another great thing about this shop are the International diving trips they put on. So with being a certified diver, you'll have more opportunities to dive warmer tropical

I stopped here yesterday with the intention of learning more about their Discover Scuba and Open Water Diver course. I instead stayed for over thirty minutes talking with the two staff members who helped me. We went over scuba setups, how each piece works, what their experiences have been, what their dive shop does (they’re working on putting together a Diving Club for OWD’s) as far as programs and excursions. I was beyond impressed with my time here and when they have a Discover Scuba program ready, I’ll be signing up for that. I’m ready to make this place my number one scuba diving shop

I have been a customer here literally since their opening. I've taken classes, bought gear and had my regulators, tanks, drysuit, and BC serviced here. Larry the owner does a fantastic job with every aspect of the stores operation. An excellent place to find any of your desired needs for scuba diving or snorkeling. Alsowill take you on an adventure if you desire with the host for a reasonable value. the staff is super kind and always helps you with whatever you'll need and will not pressure you into buying anything and we'll work with you on any kind of questions you have. Returns are available upon request.
