Dr. Allison Shartzer is a hometown girl that loves the area in which she lives and works. Born and raised in White Oak, she graduated from St. Ursula Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. She completed her dental education at The Ohio State University in 2010 and has found her niche serving the community through dentistry.
Her true passion for dentistry is providing customized treatment to each patient by combining art, science, and compassion. When Dr. Shartzer is not in the office, she enjoys all sorts of adventures with her husband and two daughters. She frequently goes on a horseback ride or nice, slow jog but she wouldn't call herself a cowgirl or a runner.

Sadly I’m leaving this dentists office. I called today to schedule an appointment since mine was canceled due to COVID-19 (which I completely understand). They told me they were scheduling out into September. I tried to explain to the lady on the phone that my original appointment was important For me because the issue with me scheduling that far out Is that I work full time and go to school part time so my schedule is constantly changing so I was wondering if I could be put on a list to call if there was a cancellation. The lady didn’t even allow me to get halfway through this before she gave

Dr. Burns has been my primary dentist for over a year now, and my teeth are very thankful.
The entire staff has been exceptional. Their front desk ladies are very welcoming and helpful. Their hygienists have always left my teeth feeling brand new. Dr. Burns and his assistants have always made my visits quick and painless, and have turned the stressful experience of dentist visits into a pleasant experience.

After not going to the dentist for many years, I was scared to see any dentist. My wife finally convinced me to go see the dentist and I couldn't be happier with my choice to see Dr. Burns here. The staff welcomed me and made the whole experience (oddly enough) enjoyable and they were even courteous of my time. Definitely coming back for future visits.
