Services
Arch Advanced Pain Management was founded by Dr. James Sturm, who was born and raised near Canton, Ohio. He went to Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio for Medical School. At Ohio University Dr. Sturm helped developed a technique which later received National Institute of Health funding for single nerve cell injections to trace out the pathways responsible for hearing.
Dr. Sturm and staff are fantastic. True professional of his craft. Day 3 after my PRP injection and my pain was gone. My accident was 9 months prior and I had daily pain in my left shoulder keeping me from normal activities and really effected my sleep. Now I am back to full workouts and sleeping 100% better.
It is a great program that allows students (juniors and seniors) to be able to get a real life shadowing opportunity for our future. We are and have always been community driven and are proud help the future of the Healthcare industry. The students have been prepared including: HIPAA and BJC orientation.
Our goal is to help you live an active life. We use a multidisciplinary approach to maximize your rehabilitative potential. We will tailor rehabilitation based on your overall needs, severity of your symptoms and the duration you have had this current condition. It is imperative to seek treatment as soon as possible to increase the success rate of your recovery.
IF you need help registering on DHSS, our staff can help for only $60 (paid in advance on Fridays). DABA, FIPP will be your Medical Marijuana Doctor. He has consulted patients with Medical Marijuana since Missouri started allowing the use of Medical Marijuana Cards. You will need to get a Missouri Medical Marijuana Card ($150) along with a grower card ($100).

Dr. Is a perfectionist miracle worker!!!!! I am a full time nursing student. On my feet all day with terrible siatica and herniated discs, etc. I can barely get through any day!!! I got nerve blocks on Tuesday am and by Thanksgiving morning I was able to stand all day and cook an entire dinner without dying in pain bent over pulling my knees up for comfort. I not once had to suffer and today I realized “omg, I cooked all day in no pain!” I highly recommend Dr Sturm to all who have chronic pain. He can help make your life manageable. Black's citizens have the harder time getting good services. When you complained about their mistake on ; copies of certificates papers. Papers was Refused by State of Missouri; very poor copies. They replaced November 2020. They claimed I own them $25. co-pay. 2x for pickup a better copy or original copy dated July 2020. I called for an appointment for Renewal now they refused . Clerk say Ms. Management has banned me from services. So beware if you're Black it can be problem.

He help me so much was going to a different pain management doctor for four years during the four years he did not listen to me or help me whatsoever. His staff is absolutely amazing! Not rude or snobby whatsoever. Which I have experienced several times with my other pain management doctor. This has been my best 3 months in over 4 years. I never do reviews but I felt necessary to do at this time!

This was my 2nd visit to this practice since my pain management specialist retired from City Place.
I felt immediately put off this morning seeing the sign in front of the office. Wish I'd taken a picture but the gist of the message was "do not expose the Dr./Staff if you have Covid symptoms" (not the offensive part) - The message went on to say (paraphrased) - If the Dr. gets sick he will quarantine for 4 weeks, if he is hospitalized you WILL NOT get your opioids. At the end it read "THINK ABOUT IT!" I found this offensive in that it implies that their patients value their drugs above the safety

Dr. Strum is a fantastic doctor, however, Today I showed up for my appointment and was told they will no longer see me because I complained the whole time at my last appointment and that causes the doctor stress and they can’t have that. They said they called but I never received that call or message. I take high pain meds and have for several years and they just cut me off without notice because I complained about how long my last appointment took to see the doctor. Not professional at all. Shame on them, not compassionate at all! Beware everyone!!!
