Granite is an igneous rock composed of mostly two minerals: quartz and feldspar. It is an intrusive rock, meaning that it crystallized from magma that cooled far below the Earth's surface. Granite has been used for thousands of years in both interior and exterior applications. Rough-cut and polished granite is used in buildings, bridges, paving, monuments, and many other exterior projects.
There are few countertops surfaces that rival the elegance, beauty and luxury of marble. A metamorphic rock formed from crystallized limestone and other materials, marble contains dramatic veining and lovely colorations. Though types vary, most marble can be easily scratched or stained, and the porous surface is prone to tough stains.
Silestone is a combination of natural quartz and other raw materials that are extraordinarily hard and resilient. These characteristics combine to create an ideal surface for kitchen countertops, bathrooms, flooring and wall siding. Silestone Natural Quartz is a surface material with outstanding properties created for kitchen and bath design applications.
Caesarstone pioneered the original quartz surface in 1987. Quartz is one of nature's strongest minerals. Resistant to stains, scratches, cracks, heat and cold and requires minimal maintenance. Caesarstone surfaces, consisting of up to 93% quartz, retain the cool, tactile qualities of nature's strongest stones while offering freedom of design with seemingly endless application possibilities.

IDesign Granite did a great job for me even though I only needed three small remnants for three small areas in my home. JJ spent a lot of time showing me the remnants and explaining differences among the slabs, even though I showed up less than an hour before his store was scheduled to close. I enjoyed learning a lot about industry trends and dynamics, and appreciated his willingness to have those conversations. No information was disclosed by salesperson Christine that there could be an enormous gap between the countertops and the cabinets when the job was completed. It was only after the countertops were installed that that we were informed that this is “normal” for this type of job. Now a piece of trim has to be installed to cover the gap. This should have been mentioned from the outset.

Gus and the whole team are amazing from iDesign Granite. We originally went with another local company who was very unprofessional. It ended up in a scrubbing of the project on the day of delivery due to slabs not being cut correctly. Gus and the iDesign team saved us after this whole mess and had the best prices on slabs in the area. We are so thankful for their professionalism and expertise. I wish we had started with the iDesign team from the beginning because they are the best in town and would have helped us avoid a huge headache. Do yourself a favor and start out with them.

The absolute best place and cheapest place to buy granite. Gus, Hunter, and JJ(owner) are the most professional people you will ever meet. I bought granite countertops and a marble bathroom shower seat with the best price and quality around. JJ came to my house and measure the countertops that fit absolute perfect. The countertops installers are contractors but work for idesign. The installers hands down are the best installers I have ever had in my 20 plus years of owning houses. They take thier time and ensure you are completely satisfied before they leave. Good workers are hard to come by so

The TL:DR is iDesign is fantastic and we will be returning for our bathroom counters! We highly recommend hiring them!
My wife and I spend a LOT of time in the kitchen. While our kitchen was always OK, it was not great. JJ, Gus and team were exemplary. They helped us transform our dated builder grade kitchen to a classic Mediterranean craftsman look.
We were prepared to spend up to grade C granite or quartz counter and maybe even a D if there was one that knocked our socks off.
We dropped in to their shop and were amazed at being able to look at the large sheets

IDesign replaced our old ugly counters with beautiful new granite. IDesign was the first granite place we inquired at, and shopped around a little bit before deciding we liked them the best, and told them so. The granite we liked was not in stock with IDesign but we found it at one of the other places we had shopped around at, told them, and they ordered the exact granite no problem and thanked us for choosing them. They seemed to really value our business and were committed to our satisfaction. They had a pretty quick turnover and everyone from Melissa, to JJ to those who installed the granite
