In practice since 2006, Dr. Aaron Wines provides natural chiropractic care to the Norman community. It's our goal to keep you feeling well, with a focus on full family care. Expecting moms, those seeking to become pregnant and children of all ages are a special focus at our practice. Dr. Wines also sees many athletes and entire families who want to stay active and get the most out of life.
After graduating High school in Norman, OK, and traveling over a few years, Dr. Foreman, was seeking a career in the medical field. He researched many different specialties to find which one he would enjoy most. Having experienced and seen many different things such as Chinese medicine, and watching his mother go through spinal surgery, he decided that chiropractic would be a good fit.
Active Chiropractic Health & Wellness is on the west side of I-35 off of Tecumseh Road in Norman. You'll find us between the Norman Regional Healthplex and Journey Church in a group of three buildings. When you pull in, our office is in the first that you'll see. If you're experiencing pain, discomfort, numbness or tingling, it may be due to a subluxation. This misalignment of your spine can also result in muscle tension or inflammation, which is caused by your body circulating blood to the affected area so that it can heal. You may have asymmetry such as one shoulder that's higher than the other, a head that shifts in one direction and not the other, or an imbalanced pelvis.
Expecting moms go through incredible changes and developments. When Dr. Wines' wife was pregnant with their first child, and following the birth of their son, Dr. Wines developed an interest in perinatal and pediatric chiropractic care. He's trained with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and focuses on making visits to Active Chiropractic Health & Wellness fun and comfortable for the entire family.

Dr. Foreman is amazing! So kind and actively listens to your concerns. Ruthie is the sweetest person ever. Always carries on good conversation and is always checking to make sure you’re comfortable and if you need anything. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. From the front desk staff to Dr. Foreman and Ruthie, I always look forward to seeing them. It’s a breath of fresh air to receive kindness and great customer service. I have been going here for many years and Dr. Wines has really helped me continue to achieve a great plan to my overall chiropractic care. His staff is always friendly and professional. I work in the dental field, workout, and live an active life along with other injuries so he takes that into accountability. He also does follow up evaluations to see where I need improvement or what needs to be focused on. I highly recommend him and his staff. I always leave feeling better and with positive vibes!

Don’t waste your time. When I first called they said they had no idea how much it would cost. Office staff is evasive from the first day as if they take insurance or not. They do not take insurance is the first clue. Then expect you to cough up over $1,300 for treatments you may or may not need. Find someone else to take advantage of. About the worst experience of my life at a medical facility.

Literally a scam. Just wants to get money out of your pocket. I’m a student and I paid $177 up front which was fine. I asked if that was all I had to pay because I couldn’t afford it if I had to pay every time I came in. They told me it was fine. Next visit he popped my back two times and then charged me $52. Told they want me coming in twice a week which calculated me paying $1083 when I was done. They also do not take insurance. This place is a scam. Go somewhere else where they’ll actually do something rather than just drain your bank account.

My sister recommended Dr.Wines after she took her newborn son when he was 6 weeks old.
I started taking my daughter when she was the same age. Dr.Wines and his staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They make you feel so welcomed right when you walk through the door. I have never felt more comfortable at a doctor office.

Everyone at Active is so friendly and compassionate. What a warm and loving environment! I always leave feeling even better than when I came in, on all levels. Dr. Wines is taking great care of my neck, shoulders, and sacral, which were all in dire need of work after many falls from horses and a few car accidents.

I love Active Chiropractic. They are truly concerned with every patient’s health and well being. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I used to have neck tightness and stiffness and back pain. Dr Wines changed all of that. After going through his recommended scheduled appointments, I am neck and back pain free!!. I am a runner and monthly adjustments keep me in proper alignment and at peak running performance. I highly recommend Active Chiropractic and Dr Wines.

I have curvature of the spine with severe low back, neck, and upper back pain at times. When I first started seeing Dr. Wines, I had just moved here from out of state and could barely walk in the mornings, had to have help putting on my socks or standing up from sitting, and could not do housework or my own shopping. With 2 sessions per week I had 80% mobility returned after about 5 weeks; now I'm at 99% mobility and freedom from pain after 10 weeks (and still doing 2 adjustments per week, by my choice, not coerced by Dr. Wines. :)) His expertise is top notch. I have been to a LOT of chiropractors
