The Montessori way is our way of approaching the children to help them lay a foundation in order to help themselves for the rest of his life. The aim of the Montessori Method is to assist the child to develop totally and fully. When a child, especially between the ages of 2 1/2 and 6 years old is exposed to the scientific materials in our prepared environment, it brings out their full potential.

Our students are given the freedom to choose and proceed at their own pace which is a significant part of the Montessori Method. By doing this the child begins to like what she does and not just doing what she likes. They are able to feel an inner feeling of success. Woodpark Montessori was established in 1990 by Priyanthi and Nimal Sundaram.
Services
Our program offers unique discovery based experiences for our students through hands on work at their own pace in an environment that is conductive to learning. We employ the Montessori Method by having our students work independently to come to their conclusions with our Montessori work. We also have Spanish, Music, Sign Language, Phy Ed, Dance and Piano teachers that work with the children weekly.
Our unique approach to learning starts with even our youngest children. In our infant room, we begin early sign language, flash card use, and meaningful sensory experiences. As the children grow and develop, we begin introducing them to Montessori materials, which they will continue to use throughout their time with us.
At Woodpark, we teach our preschoolers about the world around them through hands-on participation at their own pace! We believe that preschoolers should be given time to experience education and understand concepts in a way that makes sense to them. Preschoolers are at a stage in their development where they are constantly learning new things from their social interactions and the environment around them.
During the day, we instruct our students in a variety of ways in the classroom. In addition to what happens in the classroom, we bring in qualified instructors to aid in your child or children's growth and development of certain subjects. Included in your child's program here at Woodpark are Music lessons, Sign Language, Physical Education, and Spanish.
The registration fee is $75.00 per student. This is due with your application and is non-refundable. If you have more than one child attending Woodpark you are entitled to a 10% discount on the lesser or equal rate. You have the option to pay tuition weekly or monthly. For more information about our rates please call or email us today!

We stumbled upon Woodpark when I switched jobs and needed new childcare closer to my work, and it was the best thing that could have happened to us and our child. Woodpark is an amazing place. Our daughter has grown in ways I would not have even realized she could. The teachers there are all incredible. They have been there for years (which is so rare for a daycare/preschool), several of them having attended Woodpark as kids themselves! The family that owns Woodpark is beyond dedicated to providing the best experience for both families and the children they tend to. It's amazing how much love they

Worst school of my life, Im in 5th grade now but, looking back to this school just makes me cringe. I remember one day i was playing in the "toddler room" (one of those rooms) I fell and hit my front teeth (on top) and was bleeding like crazy, they never called my mom. They once forced me to eat a food I hate (i still hate it to this day.) The only nice teacher was Miss Misty, she was the one who got me into reading and I remember she read the Magic Treehouse series to us and I was in love with that book, god did I love her.

The staff at Woodpark Montessori are fantastic. Our children were loved and well taken care of here. We loved the family feel of the center and our children highly benefited from the academics intertwined in the Montessori methods.

We absolutely love Woodpark Montesorri. We've had our twins there for over a year and are thrilled with the love they get from their teachers and the perfect balance between learning and playing. They offer many experiences for the children, such as soccer, piano, ice skating, martial arts, and field trips. They also provide healthy meals and snacks. This is the 3rd school that they have attended and we couldn't be happier.

My daughter was 14 months in 2013 when I enrolled her into Woodpark Montessori Child Care in Burnsville. That was the best decision I have made for her, she absolutely loves it there and so do I. The teachers are so sweet and keep you updated with the progress of your child. The helpers are also very insightful and I have never had a problem with their care. It is a very clean and organized environment. They do so many activities/field trips and I have witnessed so much growth in her ability to talk, draw, speak Spanish, write letters. She is now 3 and I couldn't be more proud of how smart she

My son, Blake (now 7) went to Woodpark Montessori from 7 months - Kindergarten. We thought it was expensive, but he was our only one so we made it work. When I got pregnant with our second child. We were going to try to save some money and send her to an in home daycare. We found one in our neighborhood. Were so excited. We could drop our daughter off there in the AM and then Blake (7) would take the same school bus that he took to school, home and just get off at a different stop. Then I could pick both my kids up at one stop. Fast Forward 3 month of doing this and Blake said, “Miss _____ spanks
