Welcome to the official Web site of the John J. Pusti Funeral Home, Inc. We serve the community of Greater Hazleton, Pennsylvania and we take pride in being family-owned since 1923. Our facility provides all aspects of a dignified and meaningful funeral service, including traditional burials, cremations and memorial services.
Take Interstate 81 South to Exit 143 (Hazleton). Make a left at the traffic light onto PA-924 North. Stay straight through two traffic lights. After the second traffic light, stay in the right lane and make a right at the stop sign onto PA-93 East (Broad Street). Continue following the road through one traffic light.

Whenever possible, we try to provide sponsorship support to local programs and organizations, particularly those that strive to uplift the intellectual and cultural spirit of our collective local community, as well as those that promote good health and wellness, both physically and emotionally.In Spring of 2021, the John J. Pusti Funeral Home, Inc. was a sponsor of the Hazle Township-based All American Girls Softball League.

Funerals are for the living, and the rituals and ceremonies are for the survivors who suffer the loss of a loved one. It is through the funeral process that a number of emotional needs are met for those who grieve.

The passing of a loved one is never easy.
John J Pusti Funeral home went above and beyond in helping us through our time of sorrow. Mr Pusti and Jimmy were professional, kind and astute with guiding us through the process.
Everything was explained and handled with efficancy.
Some may say that is what they get paid for; however I will say that yes it is a business and their source of income, yet you walked away treated as you were family.
The kindness, care , and compassion will not be forgotten.
I would highly reccomend them.

My family first used the Pusti Funeral home in 1956 when my grandfather passed away.
We have continued using the business when my grandmother passed in 1991, again when my mother died in 2008 and most recently when my wife, Marianne, died on 3/27/21.
The Pusti family has handled every funeral with timely, personal service at a reasonable cost and I would recommend their funeral care to anyone!!
