FYXIT started off as a computer repair service that offered affordable and reliable services. We operated out of our homes and ran a complimentary delivery/on-site service. Engaged in helping the local student community, we also got into fixing phones early on. We quickly adapted to specialize in fixing iPhones which were very popular among students.

All iPhone repairs are covered under a lifetime warranty on the quality of the part. This does not include coverage of accidental/physical damage like a cracked screen or any water damage. Most computer/laptop repairs are covered by a 90-day warranty that covers the part used for the repair and the quality of workmanship.

Our diagnostic charge can be credited towards the cost of the labor on repair. Have the perfect system built for you.

We charge $75 to $125 for virus removal depending on how malicious the virus is and how long it takes us to get the job done. Some viruses can corrupt your system files completely as well as take days to remove.

I don't know how they could get many good reviews. I am very unsatisfied and upset about their service to my laptop. I have called them by phone to ask if they can check my laptop, they said yes, you can come at any time. Then when I was there, they told me they are very busy, need to take 3 days to check my laptop, if I want them to check it sooner, I need to pay $45 fee on top of $65 diagnostic fee. Okay, I need my laptop for work, so I have no choice. One hour later, they called me and told me to spend $230 on a new screen and plus $140 labor cost to replace it. I was surprise on this and

In short this place is really magical place they fix your phone like blinking eye ... before couple years ago i have same problem in my old phone i took some places to fix it they checked and they told ooo you have to change all stuff this,, that etc,,,and make your bill so expensive...But this place is not like that they try to fix it as they can and they are really honest in the business love it :)

This business is so customer friendly! We have used them several times for computer and phone repair. They are fast and very reasonably priced. My iPhone 6 has had battery issues and they replaced the battery last fall in under an hour. In the last week my phone was losing charges and kept rebooting itself. I took it to FYXIT last night at 6:45 expecting to pick it up the next day. They fixed it on the spot and installed a new battery in a few minutes. The new battery is working wonderfully!

Fyxit did and excellent job replacing my laptop computer when I spilled water on it. They ran a diagnosis on the computer just hours after I dropped it off. I got a phone call right away with the status and the possible fix. They had even tracked down the replacement parts for me and had a cost estimate ready. They were extremely fast and installed the new part same day of arrival. They went to great lengths to ensure my computer was running well and extended an email to me to check up on any issues after repair. Overall they are an excellent service and I highly recommend them for any computer

My MacBook Pro is 7 years old and nearly crashed. For the past year, it has been extremely slow as well. When I brought it into FYXIT, I was helped right away and Jason was very helpful and informative about the potential problem, solutions, and the cost. The price for a new hard drive was also very reasonable. When I got my laptop back, I lost nothing and it was so much faster. It almost felt new! I'm so glad I went here.

Bought a new HP Pavilion, used it about a month and suddenly got a blue screen. I tried to fix on my own but the blue screen would go on too quickly for me to get anywhere. Usually go to Simplified Computers but thought I'd give Fyxit a chance.
They charged me $65 for a diagnosis and their diagnosis was that I had a bad hard drive. I was dubious since it was brand new. They said they'd replace with a much smaller solid state for $185. They did advise that the computer was still under warranty and so I decided to give HP a chance.

I brought in my MacBook after spilling tea on it, which caused it to become completely non-functional. They were great about showing me exactly what damage had been caused and going over what would need to be done to have a chance at fixing it. They emphasized that there's no guarantee their repair would work, but I decided to go ahead with it, and it was successful! It's been a few weeks and my laptop is still running smoothly. Very satisfied with the whole experience.

Dropped my phone one Friday at work, and of course, the screen shatters! I had to drive from Chicago down to Central IL that weekend. So, I started hunting for places along the way that had good ratings and were easily accessible off of 57-S.
I read reviews for FYXIT and called them. They were friendly and told me to stop in on my way down. From the minute I walked in, told them what was wrong and got my phone back, it was all of about 35 minutes. (Actually, may have been less...)

I am so happy with my experience here. My laptop's hard drive decide it no longer wanted to be a part of this world. In a panic, I thought of this place and good thing I remembered it! I dropped it off, they said it could be the cable or the hard drive or both, gave me a quote, and I went on my way. They called some time later and let me know that the hard drive was basically useless and highly recommended I replace it and the cable (which I knew was having problems). I've had two great experiences with FYXIT. I'm currently trying to keep my early-2011 macbook pro in the land of the living. I paid a fair amount for it in the eponymous year, and it's still snappy, so I'm not keen to replace it. That being said, the various pieces that make it what it is are beginning to give up the ghost.

Came here because I spilled a huge cup of water on my Mac keyboard and my Mac stopped working. I panicked and came here 24 hours later and they were able to fix it in a day and kept calling me every couple hours to let me know what they are trying to do. It ended up costing only 90$ total. Definitely recommend coming here for repairs!

WOW is all I can say is I continue to feel violated by the owners of Fyxit. The response from Fyxit is just as contradictory and arrogant as they were each time I contacted them. Other's mileage may vary but with the vitriol demonstrated here in their reply, surely there will be others that feel just as violated when things go poorly - as they would normally do every once in a while. To me integrity is how a person addresses their mistakes, which in this case was poorly - very poorly.
My review was truthful and honest - even to the

Had a shattered iPhone 6 screen. FYXIT team was professional and quick. Installed the new screen in about an hour. The service ran $160 which felt a little steep, however it was done well in an insanely short amount of time - and w/out the new screen my phone wasn't usable. They were nice and knowledgeable. Would recommend to others.

I broke my Macbook Pro Screen about a month ago and it wasn't too terrible, just wasn't pretty to look at. I checked a few places and was quoted around $500 to just get the glass repaired and decided it wasn't worth paying that much.
Luckily, a few days after I broke my screen, someone in class saw that my screen was cracked and recommended FYXIT! I texted Brendan and he quoted me less than half of what other places tried to charge me. He was also extremely patient with me since I didn't want to get it repaired until after finals.
