Our assessment gives each person the knowledge, product/s, and game plan to be healthy and active. In order to provide the best, individualized service, share your goals and experience with us. Determine the amount of motion at the ankle and big toe, which is vital for natural foot and ankle motion.
No article on the transition to Natural Footwear is complete without some discussion on the effect of footwear, what is the ideal footwear, how do you choose what is best for you, and most importantly how to fit the shoe. At NEWSole Running, we defy old-school thinking of narrow-shaped, ill-fitting conventional shoes.
We offer coaching services for any athlete that wants to run, run better, or run faster. We teach a natural running form that is more efficient, creating less impact and injury which creates faster running. We offer FREE classes twice a month for one hour on form training. We also train runners for specific needs as mentioned above.

Helpful staff. You can try the shoes on and test their performance in store prior to committing to purchasing them . 😊 The atmosphere is unique becauseof the location. Unlike other stores I don't have to go out my way or to a crowded mall where my expectations are not being catered to because the associate is trying to sale me whats popular NOT what I want.

The staff is always so helpful in finding the right shoe for me. There is never any pressure to put me in a specific brand or price point. They make suggestions based on their considerable knowledge, let me try out the shoes and then make my decision. I have so much confidence in them I drive down from Atlanta every time I need new shoes.

I have been going into Newsole for a year now. They were so helpful in helping me find a shoe(Altra) for my foot size(very wide feet). It's the only place that I'll go now for my shoes and I wish I had known about them earlier. The staff are very helpful and there's a curve treadmill to try your shoes out before you purchase them. And if you don't like them before a month's time... bring em back and try something else!

Dave is fantastic. I have stuck to bad and damaging shoes for years. He showed me multiple choices, all of which could work. There was another customer in the store returning what did not work. He was patient and lovely with both of us. Want the instore treadmill. Fantastic and unexpected resource in McDonough. Put the shoes on to write this review!

I have bought two pairs of altra shoes here. All of the staff have been incredibly helpful and taken there time to help me find the best shoe for me. I even did a jogging session around the building while Dave watched and recommended a different shoe. I go out of my way to buy here because of the customer service!

This place is totally awesome! When I came in with my two little children, the sales associate was so welcoming and friendly. She did a gate analysis and help me to try on about 20 pairs of shoes. I found a pair that I love you and I'm so happy that I went to this store instead of a more traditional typical shoe store.

I went in, literally in tears asking for help as my calves and plantar fascitis so bad i could hardly walk.The Owner David listened and offered a roller that my husband can use to roll out my too tight calves, I thought great another torture devise. In two days it has made such a difference. I am excited for an upcoming vacation I was afraid I would not be able to make. I also have inserts for my shoes, that I am sure will help alot also. He was patient, kind, knowledgeable and didn't sell me things I didn't need. Found out later my doctor bought his shoes from him as well.

What a relief to have found this wonderful shoe store!! Its excellent reviews are so accurate. I love to walk for exercise but I've had a years-long problem with pain in my feet. I've been to three podiatrists trying to address the problems but I had very little success. I've also spent a lot of money on expensive shoes that didn't help either. So, when Dave found me the perfect pair of comfortable (and beautiful) shoes and showed me some tricks for tying the shoe laces (to minimize contact with some painful areas), I was beyond thrilled. If you're looking for comfort and something that will fit hour feet the way it's suppose to please stop by. Very friendly and clean place. Shoes here are not your typical Nike adidas. Proper fitting for your feet for runners, joggers, hikers or athletic trainers.
Owner is very friendly and helpful. Their sandal slides and sandal is aaaammmmmazing. Great for everyday walking or quick slip on to do errands. The place is clean and anything out of stock they will order for you. You're paying for a great shoe that will not only last but fit you the way it should.

First kudos to Dave. He helped me figure my resolution to my planter fasciitis in my left foot. Through his store I bought a barefoot science footboard system to support my arch and release pressure on my planter.
I previously was in the bicycle industry and did a lot of high end bike fits. Body positioning is key critical and likewise foot mechanics are a must. I recommend this store and Dave Jonson for his vast knowledge, coaching, insight , and motivation to any being with 2 feet that walks upright! You won't be disappointed.

I'm an avid runner who wants someone who is also an avid runner to fit me for running shoes...this is the place to go! David and his team carefully watched me run and made sure that I was fitted in the right shoe. They even took the time to research other options after I thought I had found the right shoe -- just to be absolutely certain. Anyone who is a runner knows just how important this is to prevent those pesky overuse injuries we are all so prone to getting. Thank you Newsole Running for doing a GREAT job!

I was purchasing shoes for my 84 year old father. Dad broke his hip and is currently in a rehab facility. Because of this, he was unable to go in for a proper fitting.
I called NEWsole and spoke with a gentleman (I believe it was the owner) who assured me that they would have the perfect shoe for dad. When I arrived, I was greeted and we got to work finding the right shoe. After deciding on the shoe, we contemplated size. Dad insisted on a size 12 but explaining that they ran small, it was recommended that i take him a size 13. Knowing my father is a very stubborn, I knew I had to get the 12

I love the welcoming atmosphere. They took the time to make sure I had the perfect shoes for my over pronation. I had to exchange the first pair I selected; and this was done with no problem. Omg I love this shoe store! The people that work here are super nice and incredibly helpful. I just bought my 3rd pair from them. Just let them know what kind of shoes you are looking for (running, cross training, walking, every day shoes, sandals, etc).

If you are serious runner or just looking for a great pair of shoes, go to Newsole Running. For years I simply bought the big name shoes from the big box stores. After trying Altras, Newtons and INOV-8, I will never buy anything but these brands.
Dave, who owns the shop, is great too. Customer service is a lost art nowadays, but Dave nails it. His experience helped me find the shoes that worked best for my needs, gate and foot physiology. My feet thank him daily!

I first heard about NEWSole Running at a 5K at Rock Springs Church in Milner. Now, I live in Griffin, but I was so impressed by the owner's knowledge and general concern for the customer that I decided to make NEWSole my exclusive running shoe store! Staff was great wether your a beginner or elite, they have something for you. A bit on the pricey side hey, its worth every penny considering the science and technology behind their product. If you are into minimal running or CrossFit, this place is great! Prior to their arrival, there were no local stores where I could try on the brands that they carry. I usually just ordered them online, but now I can go in. Rather than just sell you shoes, they take the time to talk to you and figure out what you want to do so that you get what you need, not just what they need to sell.
