The EZ-PTG uses a 850WH Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) battery. The EZ-PTG-DELUXE uses a 1.3KWH LiFePO4 battery. Here is a chart that shows how long each unit would last for various tasks. If you add one, two or three Solar Suitcase panels, you can stretch the charge almost forever. The cooler is a very tough plastic case with almost an inch of foam padding.

Its Nice to know when you Need Help. There are still people like Lee to Help. We where on are Madin trip. For a 2 week vacation down through south UT & AZ My First with are New Lance Trailer. Well before we Even arrived at or first camp site.
Brand New 3000 watt inverter Blew! I was desperate for help!
We went and meet Lee. He got us set up with new inverter. And Saved or vacation! He really did more then he could have guessed! We had a Honda generator with us and where on the fence about the imitate need for inverter. Well on a cloudy day fired up the generator to top up the batteries. Here

We found Lee on our way through Grand Junction on our way to Utah. We bought our rig from a guy who installed his own solar system. We have never been able to get anything to run from it. We took it to a few different people and everyone just scratched their heads and had no idea how to get it up and running, including Camping World.
Lee is so knowledgeable and really good at explaining everything in a way that even a beginner can understand. He was able to get us up and running and on our way. And the best part, we now understand our system and feel confident going forward!

Lee knows what he's talking about and I trust that he's not trying to rip me off. He has been extremely helpful answering my questions before I made a purchase, and well afterward. I would highly recommend Leisure Solar if you're looking get hooked up with a solar charging system and you want to avoid buying low quality equipment (he doesn't carry the dirt-cheap brands).
edit: He also sold me a battery monitor and had the thing as set up as it could be without actually being at the camper, and I check that battery monitor app more obsessively than I check the news. I'm constantly watching exactly

My husband and I love to camp in our new RPod camper trailer. We find that the best campsites in the most beautiful places do not have any hook-ups, so we find ourselves off-grid without electricity. Leisure Solar's PTG Solar Generator and solar panels make going off-grid easy. We love this silent way to gather energy. My husband can use his CPap machine, and we can hook the solar panels or the PTG solar generator direct to the RPod for our internal systems as well.
