Dr. Launi Treece is a clinical psychologist licensed in Washington (PY 2276) and California (PSY 15945). She received her doctoral degree with an emphasis in Health Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology in 1996. She has been working in the counseling profession since 1989.
Her theoretical orientation is eclectic, or integrative, but is generally based on a psychodynamic/biological understanding of the origin of symptoms with the use of cognitive/behavioral or other psychoeducational interventions to manage the symptoms.Typically the first one to three sessions will be utilized to evaluate and discuss the problems bringing you in, your goals for treatment, and to outline the form that treatment may take.

By law, information regarding treatment and evaluation may be released only with the written consent of the person being treated or the client's parent or legal guardian. However, the law requires the release of confidential information in certain situations such as threatened harm to another person, suspected child abuse, or potential suicidal behavior.
