We didn't get a chance to stay there... They advertise as being pet friendly, but they don't allow cats... Huh?!? That's weird! Cats are much cleaner than dogs, and in my experience shed much less. So they aren't really pet friendly. Just dog friendly.
It's a good thing I called before making a reservation online (I was calling about something else), because otherwise we would've showed up and been forced to find a place at the last minute.
If you're going to have a weird exception, it should be on your website and all other platforms where you advertise.

Nasty...roaches ...false advertisement...where are the nice rooms...is the question Tiny tiny tiny...you only have room to breathe and make sure you have a hazmat mask/suit bcuz there is mold....I booked this for my husband and his sons who went on a fishing adventure and I chose this from pictures advertised and the distance from where they needed to be. I wish my husband used his right as a consumer and requested better or simply gotten a refund I was horrifid when he shared pictures and video...now I hope they don't bring roaches back into our nice home...next time I will read reviews.. NEVER

My wife fell over the concrete coming out about 2 feet past the pool fence.VERY DANGEROUS.we had a nice sewage back up for our Thanksgiving holiday. The original room didn't have heat though we booked a month earlier. My wife told them she got hurt.he didn't care.i understand the lady only charged for 1 dog and we have 2. But this Was EXTREMELY horrible. Don't stay here. They don't give a s%÷t about you or your safety.

Just run - unless you get the nicer rooms. They show pictures of their nicer rooms and not the complete dump of rooms you may also be surprised with. We read they were nice people and clean basic rooms - which was all we wanted. They gave us this awful room which the bathroom tiles peeling everywhere and mold in between the tiles. There were holes in the ceiling and it looked like toilet paper was stuffed into it. The door had a huge gap under it, who knows what can get under that. It was misleading and just unacceptable all the way around. The staff was nice and helpful, the location was great

Just wow. The pictures they show must be only certain rooms. Not sure why we got the room we got but it did not seem worth that $100. The bathroom had peeling tiles and mold in the cracks. They had toilet paper stuffed into holes in the ceiling too? Very odd. They really need to redo these rooms because showing the world the better rooms is not the right thing to do. Thinking you will be walking into a room that was nice enough to lay your head and walking into this was just not right. The staff was nice, I will give them that. The location was awesome as well. I didn't even stay at this hotel, I needed to cancel my reservation (in advance) that's what cancelling means... and this is the response the owner has
Your review does not make sense. If you were present at property, why would there be need to cancel? You were asked to leave as you were disturbing other guests. You have 10 people present in your room and your group was being very loud and therefore were told to leave if you wouldn't cooperate. Thank you"

This place is 5-Star Practical. It provides quick, easy access to the less trendy but equally beautiful side of Panama City Beach. The decor and furnishings are retro/cheap/whatever, but the beds are comfortable, and the hot water works. It's not big and fancy, and that's the main downside--no hot tub or big fluffy bath towels or those warm chocolate chip cookies on your bed when you return to your room each evening --but the pool is lovely and the place is clean and well maintained. Kudos to the owners and management. I'm looking forward to another stay soon!

I was NOT disappointed at all with my stay at Aqua View Motel. I was a little nervous when we first booked the room because I had never been there and anyone can make pictures look good online. However, the pictures did match up with the rooms. I loved the location of the motel as well. Not only was it within a very short walking distance to the beach, but it was also convinced by a gas station right in front of it. And, as a plus, it was pretty much right in the center of everything. Restaurants, stores, gas stations...etc. Also, an added bonus, the pool is amazing and super clean!!

Wasn't as bad as some of the other reviews make it out to be. I went on spring break so there were a lot of other kids there and it was pretty fun, the beds are comfortable enough and the room is pretty decently clean. It was right at the beach, so its a perfect room for just sleeping/bathing in if you are planning on spending time at the beach. The room service was kinda shady though, when I was checking out people were complaining about things getting stolen from them but I didn't have any problems with it

For a "motel", all was to be expected. The a/c stayed cold but we cleaned the filters when we arrived. They had not been cleaned in awhile. The shower stall is way too small and tall, but the water temp and pressure were great. The motel is in a perfect location for beach, food, gas, ice, etc.! Out room had a kitchen with limited pans, utensils, and such. Beds comfortable enough.

Built solidly, with tiny rooms and freezing air conditioning, impeccably clean (inside), this place has comfortable beds, fresh sheets and towels, a 9' deep swimming pool, and a distant view of the ocean. Beach access is an easy stroll, and there are a couple of good local dives within walking distance ( I heartily recommend

An honest review. I called and set up my reservation. I advised I was bringing a family of five, which 3 where adults. I arrive and get room 105. We go in and find one bedroom, a teeny tiny Kitchenette and a couch with pullout. Ok, two beds, 5 people. Need at the very least 3.
Go up front to request a bigger room and I am advised they are booked solid. I am advised they had a bigger room, but when I was entered into the computer it was only put in as 1 adult. Not my fault. I ask if I can just cancel and they tell me they will have to charge 1 nights price to cancel.

Love that it's not even a 3 minute walk to the beach. Not the best and up to date room but perfect for people who understand going to the beach means you're not in your hotel room the whole time. Great for a place to crash and head to the beach in the morning. From my experience it was a safe place to stay and I would 100% book again. My only complaint would be that the other people staying upstairs and outside the room were extremely loud at all hours.

You can't compare the Aqua View to the Ritz, but that's the point. My BFF and I have stayed here for the past 4 years and we love it. It's clean, safe, comfortable, and family owned and managed. All we need is a clean place to crash and shower, and Aqua View is perfect. Looking forward to next year already!

I am going to give this place an overall three. Sure I have seen better but what stands out about this motel is that despite being surrounded by private rental beach houses, condos, and private business tourist traps; it has stood the test of time. Rarely anywhere in the entire Panama City Beach Florida area do you see a glimpse of the past when this area was more than just a tourist breeding ground. This place and a few others on Thomas Drive as well as a few more on Front Beach Road remind me of the mom-and-pop places of the 60's and 70's where you could actually see the beautiful

The manager Rodney interrogated me like a suspect. I spoke to other family members who also stayed at the same motel. They were also being interrogated by Rodney. He definitely needs to work on people's skills and customer service. I would never recommend this motel to anyone. Go somewhere else who will treat you like a HUMAN BEING!!
