Make sure you check how much they charging. Multiple instances where I was being overcharged compared to what was noted on stickers. Cashier seems unconcerned. If I hadnt paid attention would have paid double for a smaller quantity. Any other place you would get some sort of reaction but cashier was nonchalant.

I really like this store, but the cashier lady needs to learn how to treat everyone the same. Sooo I walked in around 330 and bought 8 items, she was trying to kick me out at 4 when they're Google clearly says 430. I had no problem with that because I was pretty much done shopping anyway. The pajama party boy walked in after me and she was okay with that. And the white boy in front of me she was nice to also. But also pointed out that I was a last minute shopper to him and she had a party to go to. So now she calls mehul bhai to finish up. Just rude

The so called owner is basically a cashier at the counter. So the story goes like this- i went to buy the eastern sambar powder which clearly mentions that for the cost of $1.29 i can get another powder for free. But the owner denies the deal and says-" its the deal from India and it's not valid here, therefore, u can buy another brand and get 1 free" it seems. The reason why he says another brand is because, another brand is not $1.29 but more than that.. Is this monopoly or what? I have never come across someone so cheap. Most of the things are expensive here. When the check out is done he says

All of Indian grocery at one location. Just heads up before walking into the store make sure to make shopping list. Little things become tempting to buy. Also, keep eye on product price because they change depending time and season. During Diwali sale best time to grab grains/beans packets. During the checkout keep eye on screen if something doesn't look right point it out or ask for it to remove it.

This is one of the only indian grocery stores in my area in north jersey. it's very convenient with a lot of parking, and they have all of the things I need to make indian food during the week. There are some reviews on here about long lines but I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes in line (I typically go during rush hour too) so I think that may have been resolved. Big fan!

Worst experience ever...
A cashier named Pallavi seems very rude and is not very welcoming.
When requested to get an item from where she is standing, she does not want to help and says- 'Whatever you want to get make it quick, I have other customers to take care of'
Well, first of all every cashier who stands near those items that are hard to reach for a customer, always grabs me one but she seemed disinterested.
Either, she was lazy or is not happy to do her job.
Narmada is my one stop for Indian groceries but if people like her are not willing to do their jobs, I would stop going there

The store carries so much of Indian ingredients all under one roof. The grains pulses are so fresh that I could sprout them
The staff is welcoming and would guide you if you cannot find the item you need
Their items have no compromise on quality
The very best money can buy
Their masala/ spice section is awesome
You will keep coming back to this store and discover so much more
Highly recommend this store for Indian ingredients
Go ahead make curries and pulao's

The service sucks at this store. The owner is a big miser who doesn't want to spend money on hiring cashiers so there is always this ridiculous line where you stand and watch this single slow and untrained cashier who is wasting even more time by dumb actions. Seriously, I would rather drive 10 minutes more to go to Patel Brothers where the store is efficient and much bigger inventoey than come to this ridicilous store.
