The Samak Smoke House & Country Store is located on the scenic byway, Mirror Lake Highway, in beautiful Kamas, Utah. We have the usual dry goods and supplies that make up any hometown general store, plus local sundries and supplies that will make your trip to the breathtaking Uinta Mountains complete.

Ever since I was 10, I can remember driving with my family all the way to Kamas to get some of the beef jerky. Nothing beats the freshness, and the homemade goodness with each bite that melts in your mouth. My wife and I really enjoyed our visit to the store and was amazed at how fresh Samak's jerky was.

Love this place! Definitely pricey, but so worth it with how amazing everything tastes. Smoked cheese and fish are necessary for a day out in the mountains.

Another must-stop on the way to (or back from) your camping/hiking adventure in the Wasatch National Forest. This small, family owned smoke house and convenience store sells items for your basic outdoor needs besides smoked items, drinks, sandwiches, sunscreen, gifts, coffee and much more. Highly recommend checking it out.

This country store has everything you need for a great weekend in the Uintas! From amazing smoked cheese, espresso, and your Mirror Lake Park pass! They are a rare 'One of a Kind' small business that gives great customer service and knowledge of the area! What a rare find!

Yummy espresso and cappuccino!! Cute picnic area outside and their own line of beef jerky. Also have an informative guide all about big foot. Beautiful view!!

This is a great little general store which carriers a wide selection of items for your next excursion. Local smoked trout, smoked cheeses, gluten free items, some camping equipment, and they make coffee and sandwiches in-house. Make sure to stop by when you're driving along 150.

They didn't lie. Best jerky in the state. A must go! Great excuse to take a drive up the uintas for the day. The smoked trout is amazing
