We get that a lot. We are different, starting with the simple fact that we recognize you're busy, your life is evolving, and when everything is said and done, you want to know you've made the best decisions for your family and that your plan will work when your loved ones need it the most. We're different, too, because from the very beginning, our practice is based on relationships.
As one of the fastest-growing law firms in the United States, our firm is always on the lookout for top-caliber talent to add to our team. We help people build better lives by planning for a more secure future via estate and asset protection planning. Are you passionate about helping people? Do you want to go to work every day knowing you're making a positive impact in people's lives?
You've worked hard to provide for yourself and your family. You and your family deserve the level of service, guidance, and protection that we provide through our proven Vision Method process. By now, you've seen that our firm is something special. Part of how we're able to provide exceptional service and develop comprehensive, custom-designed plans, is by following our unique Vision Method process.
From the most basic outline of how you want your assets divided, to a comprehensive plan to protect your family's well-being long after you are gone; your estate plan will be 100% tailored to your specific needs and desires while taking into consideration any outside forces that could affect your and your family's future well-being.
Many people believe that as long as you write down where you want your money to go after you die, your loved ones will be all set. Unfortunately, it is not always that easy. Depending on what you own, the process of making sure your assets are properly divided can be confusing, time-consuming, and prone to mistakes.

Everyone at this firm has been beyond amazing and patient with us regarding some delays on our side in getting our trust done. In August 2021, we completed and funded (many thanks to Kathy for all of her funding assistance) our trust. It is a wonderful feeling to know that our assets are protected and that everything is in order for our children. My husband and I give our highest recommendation to Carolina Family Estate Planning.

I managed to get to 75 yo without a will and power of attorney. My banker suggested Carolina Family Estate Planning. Best suggestion ever!!! The entire staff was super helpful and kind. They did not make me feel like any question was stupid . I feel so much better having that done! They welcomed my daughter to participate, and encourage her to ask any questions. All and all a great experience and the price was right!

We originally completed our Estate Plan with Carolina Family Estate Planning in 2010. Years later when we requested a review we were charged a very high fee with the advice that no changes were necessary.
We later contacted the firm to make changes and experienced several unprofessional and conflicting emails, quotes that were then changed (upwards significantly) via email, long delays in response, very poor documentation of meeting topics discussed and agreed to. etc.
I became disappointed with their service and lost trust in the quality of our Estate Plan. I then researched other firms and

Carolina Family Estate Planning helped us update our Living Trust when I was faced with terminal cancer. They were extremely professional, friendly, and supportive, and their process was well thought-out and easy to follow. They may not be the cheapest firm, but when you're looking for professional estate planning, do you really want to go for cheap?

Carolina Family Estate Planning was an amazing gift to my husband and I. Not only did they help him with his father's estate, but then guided us through our own trust planning. They were patient, kind, and explained everything completely. I would recommend them to anyone needing help with their trust or the trust and estate planning of loved ones. Dont wait!!

I've been extremely happy with Carolina Estate Planning. They've given us great guidance, doing a great job making sure we understood things without ever talking down to us. They've also worked with us as our family has grown, and I've always felt that they've genuinely cared about doing right by us. I would recommend them in a heartbeat—and I have.

My experience with Carolina Family Estate Planning was truly top notch. If you don't know your options for estate planning, these folks will explain in detail what the various options entail. I am familiar with living trusts and that's what I wanted. However, the hardest part of a living trust is changing the accounts/titles/deeds. This is where CFEP really made it easy! All the necessary forms were filled out...with stamped envelopes! I simply enjoyed a glass of wine and signed where indicated. Super simple! And well worth their fees. Professional and efficient!

I would give the firm two stars for the nice people we met with but after scheduling and meeting for multiple sessions and finding times amidst the work day that aligned to review the family's finances, they reneged on their offer to set up trusts and follow through on the work they explained they could do. They did refund our money but with a vague excuse that they couldn't follow up on. I find this extremely poor customer relations and feel bad for the staff if this is the culture at this firm.

Carolina Estate Planning was was a seamless operation to help get our final wishes on paper in a complex family environment. We had a number of conversations which helped define our wants and needs and they put the entire plan into words on a paper. We had discussions which included going through diagrams to to discern exactly what we wanted visually, and then to transpose them into words and instructions. We think Carolina Family Estate Planning has a great organization and staff to help you plan, define, organize, and document your wishes in the event you are not there to speak for yourself.

We contacted Carolina Family Estate Planning after moving to North Carolina from New Jersey - we wanted to make sure all our important documents, including wills, healthcare directives and trust documents were all up to date and compliant with our new state laws. They responded to us immediately, and through several meetings with both the director of client relations, the lawyer that they teamed us up with, and their staff, we had our (pretty complex!) documents updated and ready for signature within a matter of days. They answered every question clearly and kindly - this kind of thing can be

We are a married couple in our late 60s with two grown daughters, and we own a house. We found CFEP offered the services we needed. They were approachable and easy to communicate with. They worked with us closely and helped us navigate the system. We got a more thorough plan than if we had just tried to do a will online, or that a lawyer might just slap together, but without unnecessary items we didn't need with our estate. They certainly helped us put together a whole range of documents, not just wills, to help our heirs, and to help us if and when we severely ill or unable to handle such

We had a plan that was about 15 years old and from another state, so decided to update; we chose Carolina Family Estate Planning based on word of mouth. We found every interaction with them to be professional, compassionate, and very thorough. They focused on crafting a collaborative plan that meets all our needs! We highly recommend them to everyone, whether you already have a plan that needs to be brought up to date, or you have no plan at all. Also, moving forward we feel like we have a solid support system with them regarding any changes in law, or if our own circumstances change. We are truly
